Purchased As New
I bought a 2012 Camaro convertible 2LT two weeks ago and so far I am delighted with my decision.
Main issues with the vehicle are the lack of visibility and the very limited cargo space. The former is well addressed by the rear camera and the heads-up display, and I don't really mind the latter - our other vehicle is a Subaru Outback.Still, the Camaro's trunk will accommodate a small baggage for 2 or 3-4 grocery bags. Not bad for a convertible sports car.
What the Camaro brings plenty of, however, is sheer beauty. It's simply a looker, and it's fun to see people turning their heads to watch it go by. Fueling the car up takes longer because one has to answer questions from by-standers half the time.
With the top down, rear seats are surprisingly comfortable, even for mid-size adults (I'm 5'8" and they fit me perfectly).
Despite its size and wight, the vehicle has plenty of power (provided that your goal is not to leave rubber tracks on the asphalt) and it is surprisingly fun to drive.True, it doesn't have the cornering abilities of a 911 or even a Boxter, but its independent read suspension keeps it on the road when in gets bumpy.
So far, it's perfectly reliable - no adjustment is needed anywhere.
I just love the car and and I look forward to driving it every time I can.
