From the moment I saw the concept car in a magazine, I have been hooked on this baby. I got to drive one as a rental car in 2011, I had it for 23 hours and covered 350 miles, some of them at 130 mph with my cop buddy driving it.
For the next two years, I watched them drive by, and always said someday...
My someday came in October, and I've loved every second of it. I have twice taken long trips to California - 8+ hours - and arrived as excited as I started. It'll get almost 30 mpg and still snap to 90 mph at a moment's notice. It's pretty comfortable for long drives and handles extremely well, there's a great community of fellow Gen5 drivers out there, and everyone says "nice car!" in the drive-through lanes.
I will have this car forever.
