Purchased As New
Bought in 2007 brand new. Got every upgrade option that they offered and it was still less than other models. I have 224,000 miles on this car (no joke) and still performs great. Getting on average 35 mpg. (manual drive and I do a lot of toll-way driving using cruise control)
I've had to replace tires (of course) and have had a couple of brake jobs and just did an engine tune up and some other maintenance stuff. But at 100k+ you'd be doing that on any car.
More horsepower than any other in its class. I am not sure why this car doesn't get the props it deserves.
I keep this car showroom clean inside and out and you'd never know it has so many miles on it. Still get compliments from people who see it.
My only beef is that the trunk opening is narrow and it is hard to get anything in it, like a cooler and that it requires synthetic oil and oil changes run like $70.
With Chevy discontinuing the cobalt I am going to be forced to change brands unless I move to the Camero, which is a sweet car but I really need the gas mileage.
