2007 Monterey Red Z51 6 speed manual. Titanium/black Interior. Picked up at Corvette Museum - a great experience - and drove back to So Cal via Vegas. First 500 miles maintained 65-70, but moved frequently from 4th, 5th, & 6th (varrying RPM for wear). After 500, drove and cruised as normal. Got 28.5 MPG from BG, KY to Vegas. Added Vararam cold air intake and bimodal exhaust. All else stock. Used as a daily driver to work, as a grocery getter and even shuttled my Dad with a wheel chair to Dr. weekly until he passed. Plenty of room in back for the wchair.
Extremely strong performance and still gets good MPG on short weekend trips. Never any problems. LOVE this car. It's a rare month that goes by that it doesn't garner a compliment in a parking lot or a gas station.
The '12 & '13 did a good job addressing the much needed bottom seat support. At some point I might move to one of those years, or swap seats. I detest the C7- ugly rear, much heavier and longer while feeling claustrophobic inside, so I'll be driving a C6 for long time - happily so :)...read morehide

I saw this fully optioned LT3 Base 2011 Corvette with just over 2K miles on her while looking to trade my 2011 Camaro SS on a 2012 Camaro ZL-1. As soon as I drove it, I was hooked. 1-You can see out of a Corvette; 2-Acceleration was/is on-par with a ZL-1 Camaro without its thirst; 3-The clear roof panel comes off & can be driven as a Targa or with a red roof pannel; 4-The handling & ride of the car, due in large part to the magenitic suspension, is awesome.
After about 6 months Ginger, my 'vette, has 20K miles on her. A wheel alignment & new set of tires at 17,500 miles sealed the deal for me (tires must be 'road force' balanced & wheels in proper alignement) - this car is an awesome drivers car... Long cruses are comphy, & sprited driving is a stab at the accelerator or flick of the wheel away, this 'vette is eager to be 'driven'!
The paint (Torch Red) on the car is the best at resisting road dammage I've experienced. Body flex while going over rugh road surfaces is noticable by some cracking of the roof panel & widshield A pillar, but much better than in C5 or C4 'vettes I've been in. Paddle shifting automatic is better implemented than on Camaro 'cause up-shifting & down shifting paddles are on both sides of the wheel instead of the upshifts being on one side of the wheel & down shifts on the other, the paddle shifters are wheel mounted as opposed to columb or shift mounted, so that is a big little difference. Wheel allignment is critical on this 3300 lb. car! Air conditioning moisture extractor exit is above the exhaust pipe, stupid.
Every time I drive her I smile!
