- Too many to list
- I think that the Bose sound system could be better
I can't imagine not having the convertable, or not going for the LT3 package. My C6 is the most fun, comfortable and easy car to drive. The six speed transmission allows a smooth burst of power at any speed. The trunk area of the convertable is great, and so is the premium paint. The suspension is so well tuned, and there is no harshness. The GPS guidance system is just fantastic, and the in-car phone system works well also. I very much enjoy all of the amenities of the Corvette, so I hope Chevrolet will continue to build in the technological creature comforts to compliment the great performance. The heads-up display is awesome. To walk up to this car and get in after a long day at work, always provides a magical feel of inspiration. When you get behind the wheel, push the button, and feel this car come to life, who cares about the details of the day any longer....read morehide

- It does everything but cook dinner -- mmmmm, maybe on a hot day.
- Sure would like more luggage space with the top down -- hard to pack for a road trip.
This is by far the best car I've ever owned. So far, I've only driven locally -- looking forward to a long road trip later this summer. Everything fits together beautifully -- great workmanship.

- WOW what a car!!!!
For the GPS most dealers offer a bypass device for a few hundred dollars that will let you use the gps while in motion!!!

- Great performance, Brakes, handling, styling, 6 speed paddle shift automatic transmission,
- Nav system difficult to see with top down, interior could be better, big blind spots with top up
This is my first new Corvette, taking delivery in Dec. 2006 after placing an order for it in November. Has the standard LS 2 engine, 6 speed automatic with paddle shift, selective ride suspension, chrome wheels, LT3 package, Nav system, custom interior, Monterey Red paint, black top, power everything, and lots of power.
I am overall very pleased with the car, but rather displeased with the order process, for this is not truly the car I intended to have, but a rather close representation. You see, in the past, you could order an L88 427 Corvette Convertible with the THM 400 automatic Transmission, or an LS6 454 in the same configuration. Now, to get a Z06, it is ONLY available in coupe, without a removable top, Not available in Monterey Red, and not able to be ordered with a paddle shift automatic transmission.
Other cars have higher horse power, such as Ferrari and Lamborghini, yet they can be had in Convertible AND Automatic/ Manumatic transmissions.
GM is losing market share to other car makers, would it not make sense to build the car that the customer TRULY wants, instead of dictating to them as to what they will ALLOW you to buy?
Again, as it stands, this is a great car, for it performs well, gets 25 mpg, runs at 1500 rpm at 70 mph, stereo is great, XM satellite radio is good, and is a good value for the money. The main critiques are listed above, and also the floor mats belong in a Yugo, not this car for what you pay for it, esp. with the custom interior option, with the top up, there is a huge blind spot to your left and right, people tend to think your brights are on at night with the powerful headlights this car has, the front license plate frame is a very bad after thought, and it is very irritating that in the brochure they list items like locking lug nuts, body color matched dash, and other items as accessories, but these are NOT factory options and need to be installed AFTER the car is delivered....read morehide

- Fast, head turnewr, gresat gas milage
- can not red Navi screen with top down
Best car I have ever owned it is fast, smooth and easy on the gas. The automatic top takes too long and I have had some trouble with all the electronics. You are out of look if the battery fails.

- Great value for the money
- cannot read the NAV screen with the top down
I drove into the dealership with my 2004 C5 Red convertible just to look at the new models. I drove out with my C6 Z51 Convertible. I LOVE this car. I have had the block decked and some other modifications to the car. Now have 645 RWHP. This car eats up everything I race. Not bad for $85K all in.
See you out on RT 95!...read morehide

- Awesome performance
- Low fuel economy when flooring it
The new Corvette convertible is awesome!!! The acceleration is amazing! The only thing I regret is getting 11 mpg when I drive it in the city (pressing it hard).
