Upon introduction, the 2LS is equipped with a standard 1.8-liter, I4, 136-horsepower engine that achieves 26-mpg in the city and 37-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard, and a 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is optional. The LTZ is equipped with a standard 1.4-liter, I4, 138-horsepower, turbo engine that achieves 24-mpg in the city and 36-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard.
