2011 Chevrolet Cruze

- exceptionally quiet ride, attractive conservative style, cargo space impressive
- very expensive in the Caribben (34,000 USD when converted, with fewer features!)
Purchased As New
This car is decidedly superior to the Chevrolet Optra LS which I owned for 2 years (23,000 USD); good price point in Trinidad but reliability left much to be desired. I bought the Cruze, given the meteoric maintenance cost of the Optra. The Cruze is class competitive and can even be considered an upscale vehicle- first impression. The brick and black leather interior will definitely appeal to younger buyers.
Exterior- Many design cues taken from the BMW 1 and 3 series- not a bad thing. Contrary to many reviewers, I happen to like the rear end styling- resembles the sonata and 2008 7 series BMW.
Interior- I find the seats comfortable, although firm, and the instrumentation akin to eye candy. Perhps interior storage could be better.
I have had the car for one month at the time of this post I have very few negative comments. And that is a good thing seeing that I have been called a critic.
