- Way to go American car makers!!!!
- Why did you wait, American car makers????
Purchased As New
I have 100 mile roundtrip commute. My critera was COMFORT, good gas mileage and Quiet. The Cruze has this over ANY of the others I test drove. I was almost scared away by the "experts" on the review sites.
Where I am not an engineer nor a great mechanic I feel this little car
was panned by the Experts. It is not a hot-rod. It is not a race car.
It is a wonderful Quiet, Comfortable,Gas sipping pleasure. The experts warned the Cruze has " turbo lag, with shifting issues in the automatic transmisson" . I say please learn how the normal folks drive. I must say, After 4K worth of driving, this little beauty will give you Plenty of ZIP to merge on the interstate. The secret you must know is don't stomp the pedal on this little gas sipper. I find the car accelarates at a lot faster rate with not so much punching of the accelerator. I drive in an "autobahn" type" of enviroment on the interstate. Cruze handles this with ease. I would say there is a 30
mile stretch where everyone is doing 80 and I used to fight this with a
Chrysler Pacifica. Cruze is nimble and agile enough to negotiate
the demands of this easily. In town she is as quiet as my friends
LEXUS, with the smooth ride and luxury features that he has. I waited to post until I drove it a while. I really love this little car.
Everyone I show it to are amazed at the luxury in the car. I have the
LTZ. Do your research, I mean go drive them yourself. IF you want
surprising Luxury, quiet ride, great mileage Get yourself one of these
"little cars". I have the Pioneer sound system, Onstar ,XM radio,
Leather seat, Cruise control, rear backing sensor, Sunroof, 18inch wheel, version of the Cruze.
