- great fuel economy
- Tire noise
Purchased As New
We had a 2011 Cruze LT with 26,000 miles and traded it in for a 2013 Cruze Eco. Much better gas mileage, the LT got 33, so far the ECO gets 39 to 42. Handling feels better and engine performance better. I attempted to research the ECO model and the reasons for the ECO, to no luck. Did notice the 2013 Malibu ECO has battery's, but not the Cruze. The low resistance tires by Goodyear, stock with the ECO, you can feel the difference, but it has a little too much tire road noise, but the Eco itself is very quiet including the wipes on the windshield. Women should love this car. The backup camera, is great, but we prefer the beeper censers. Trunk space is big, but they could have made the trunk 6-8" smaller and that would give the rear seats more leg room. Maybe on the 2015 Models. O'yes one more item, the center consult Arm Rest, needs to be bigger/longer.
