Purchased As Used
I bought the care used with 35,000 miles on it and have loved it every step of the way, through good times and bad. Don't get me wrong I have had my share of normal wear and tear issues with the car new tires a new battery, replacing breaks the usual stuff that needs to be maintained on any car. After 3+ years of heavy driving had to replace the alternator and the replacement wasn?t too expensive so I can?t complain. These basic things I expect from a car with 85,000+ miles on it not a big deal. There were a few weird things that happened with the car that I did not like but that would not deter me from buying another one. A bolt rattled off the car and got into the fuel pan that cost a pretty penny to get out and I was not happy about that (they are still not sure where the bolt came from). The flip up mirror covers on the visor have broken twice (I gave up fixing them), and when I go through a car wash the fuel door pops open. This happened again and it no longer closes all the way since the warranty is now out my brother the mechanic will be fixing it for me (the first time the warranty covered the problem). Most of all my repairs have been covered under the warranty and the services at the Chevy dealership was great. I can?t complain I get that no one likes to dump a lot of money into a car but normal wear and tear is expected. I drive a lot so I expect the car to get tired but I am almost at 100,000 miles now and the car still looks and feels great. I love my Equinox and would buy a new one in a heartbeat (once I have driven the wheels off of this one that is)!!
