- Good leg room in the back
- Electrical system
Purchased As New
I have a 07 Equinox which I purchased in Dec. '07. I love the fact that their is lots of leg room in the back and that you can move the back seat forward and backwards.
What I don't like is the electrical system. I have had to have the headlights replaced 4 times. I just replaced the brake lights about 4 months ago and one is out again. The electrical outlets don't work. So, that means I can't charge my cellphone nor can I use my gps if I go on a long trip.
I have also had the car in the shop because the windshield wiper fluid doesn't come out for either the front or the back windows. This has been repaired and is now not functioning again.
I have also experienced the service stabilizer message appearing randomly. Just as random as it appears, it disappears....read morehide

I don't have a 2007 Equinox but I do have a 2005 purchased in 2006. I love this car. It has not given me a minute of trouble. The only thing I don't have is cruise control that I wish I had. The room in the back is much better than the bigger cars because you can move the back seat back. Leg room much better. I would recommend this car for anyone who is looking for a good dependable car....read morehide

- Nice design, good power for passing, comfortable
- Quality isn't quite as high as it should be, Speed Control is an option (NOT Nice GM)
I have had my 07 LS-1 Since Feb-07. I have enjoyed driving it, but have been disappointed with the fact that GM nickle and Dimes customers by hiding the Speed Control in a package that not everybody needs. I have had some paint issues where the road dirt has created marks on the rear door lower panels and out of the blue started to vibrate at about 60 MPH. After many days and a few trips it seems like it was the Engine mounts - I hope. The dealship has been very nice, but I wish GM would get their act together. If Japan can build better cars, why is it so hard for GM to do the same?...read morehide

- breaks are aweful. had the rotors cut at 17,000 and replaced along with brakes at 45,000.
The paint is peeling from the center console which the dealer said is not covered under the warrenty. The mirror broke on the sun visor on the driver's side. I had my last car for over 10 years and it was in better shape than this one in less that 3 years. I wouldn't recommend this car to anyone. I tell everyone I see driving one to get the breaks check often. I had problems with the brakes from the day I bought it....read morehide

- Since buying this great little suv, we have not experienced one single problem. Milage 18-19,/24-26
- The window buttons on console takes getting familiar with.
Just one great vehicle ! Unbelievable power for size of engine. Air conditioning very strong. Lots of room, and in our opinion, not as comfortable as our previous "AUTO". 20,000 miles and never been back for service, (warranty)

- geezy cup holders
For the money this is a great SUV. Looks are outstanding compareable to Lexus and higher priced SUV's the same size.
