- Its a nice looking Small SUV, Good price and Value
- Thirsty engine, Cheap interior fabrics and platic,
I moved from a Nissan Maxima with lots of power to a Equinox. I do not regret it. However, The interior is cheap, it looks and feel worse than a KIA car. I think the MPG is well below what is advertized. I currently and can't wait for the lease to end to get a BMW 335I or a G37. I would however, recomend this car for a family looking for a small SUV. It has good looks...read morehide

- trouble free, fuel economy as advertised getting 22 average.
- cheap assed carpet and fabrics
Our LT1 AWD has 9000 miles on it and have not had one problem. Fuel consumption averages 22 mpg in mostly hilly mountain driving. Best on interstate 27mpg.
Goes well in the snow, rarely shifting into AWD.
Our biggest complaint is the cheap, easily stained seat fabric and the even cheaper carpet. Chevrolet could upgrade those items a bit I'd think without adding to much cost to the vehicle.
Would I buy it again. Yes, without a doubt....read morehide

- Price, storage, great buy for the money
- would like darker interior
Ours is a 2007 LT1 AWD Ruby Red Metallic, grey interior, with sunroof and remote start. So far no problems. Fuel mileage is 21.5 on mostly secondary semi hilly roads. Hopefully it will improve a bit more when the engine's broken in. The jury's still out on how it acts in the snow. Replaced a 2001 Subaru Outback so that will be a hard act to follow snow wise. (repairwise is a whole other story!)
Bought from H&H Chevrolet in Shippensburg Pa. salesman Eddie Coy. Could not be happier with the buying experience. Would highly recommend this sales person and dealership!!!!...read morehide

- fuel decent, room, nice to drive, peppy
- needs darker interior horn poor
i had a rav4 before this and i have to say i love my equinox. it has nice pick up, sounds nice, nice sterio, after you get use to the steering it handles well, pretty quiet for an suv, i get 19 mpg combined which i think is good for a v6 of this size. interior is nice but to light in color and could use grip bars above doors
horn should be dual, but all in all i am very happy so far. we will see how the awd works this winter but so far i really do like it, and i am pretty picky...read morehide
