- Very sharp and sporty appearance.
- I have none. I just love my Equinox!!
Purchased As New
I think is is the sharpest SUV on the planet. I see them everywhere. When I am going to the parking lot to get into mine I am amazed that it still looks new after 4 years. I purchased it new in 2005. I took it for a test drive and it was over, I could not leave it on the lot. My husband was so surprised when he got home and found it in the driveway. I HAD TO HAVE THAT SUV!!!...read morehide

- Fuel economy, passenger driver seat folds down, great for changing diapers
- Blind spots due to small back windows and large support beams
We are mostly pleased with this vehicle. Blindspot and poor placement of high-beam/low beam level is only negative. Rides good, comfortable.

- Good MPG, extra roomy on the inside, smooth ride
- Gear shift doesn't light up;you have to look at the dash, cigarette lighter is under middle console
Absolutley LOVE IT!!! The 2008 FWD LT is my second one she's red, I traded in a Black 2005 AWD LT. Both were great on gas, Roomy enough for five adults (four comfortably). Loved the AWD in the Atlanta Rain and Michigan snow. Excellent ride all around!
Like another poster, the ONLY thing I don't like is the outlet is right below the console and liquids can drip almost right into it, and it's so close to the floor, you better not try to use it while driving!...read morehide

- Love the AWD
- mechanics, electronics, cup holder placement
Where to start.... I have a new 2008 equinox that currently has 4500 miles on it. At first I thought it was great. It drove nice, road smooth and then BAM! At 3600 miles, the CD player stopped working, and the engine light came on as well as the reduced power light. Had the CD player and the APP sensor replaced and then less then 24 hours later the reduced power light was back on and I was back at the shop. They fixed another part and swore that would be all the problems I would have. Now at 4500 miles, the air conditioner is blowing warm then cold then warm then cold again. And there is a grinding noise when turning the wheel into a parking spot. If your looking for something dependable, I wouldn't buy it. Unfortunately, I am a leasee who made a terrible mistake!...read morehide

- Very Comfortable and quiet running; remote start is great; roomy; nice color
- Gas Mileage to this point around town is 11.8. Where is the 17 around town and 24 on highway?
The Chevy Equinox is just loaded with things I like about it. The remote start feature is great on cold mornings. The sound system is fabulous. I bought a Tom Tom GPS that I use with it. There is plenty of room in the car and the seating is very comfortable. It is quiet running. I love the color (Ruby Red). The moon roof is nice. I could not fit in a Trailblazer with a moon roof but I fit easily into the Equinox. There are Satellite Radio and Onstar options avalable. Onstar is free for the first year. Heated seats in front only.
I just am not thrilled with the gas mileage. My 2001 Blazer got 20 miles per gallon on the highway and this car eats up gas at $3 a gallon like crazy. If it doesnt improve this will be my last Chevy car. The sticker says 17 mpg around town and 24 on the highway. My car has about 500 miles on it and it reads out that its fuel economy is 11.8. Thats OK though because last week it was 11.7 (lol)...read morehide

- Great ride - comfortable - roomy
- 19-20mph city, but 24-26mph on trips.
I bought a 2005 LS FWD in June 2005. I put 53,000 miles on it until I was involved in a serious highway accident on 12/18/07. The vehicle sustained $17,000 in damage (totaled) and I walked away with 2 broken ribs (from the airbag) and whiplash. I believe that the vehicle crumpled where it was supposed to and saved me from major injury. I took delivery of a 2008 AWD LS yesterday. I guess that that shows my satisfaction with the Equinox....read morehide

- 24 mpg, nice ride ,lots of room ,the awd is great
- The interior is basic, but we knew it when we bought it!
Our 06 rides like a car. Handles nice in any road conditions. We have had many people come up to us in the parking lot asking about it and wanting to look at it. I would like to see a flex fuel or hybrid in this model. The only problem that I have is I never get to drive it,My wife always has it!! I would recomend it to my famly or friends. We love ours and have not had any problems at all. Keep up the good work GM....read morehide

- Looks great, interior good!!
- MPG IS AWFUL! ELECTRONICS A NIGHTMARE
have had vehicle back to dealer 4 times NO RESOLUTION with electronics issue; ie: remote locks/unlock works when it feels like it, the dashboard "readouts" will "BLANK OUT" now & then WHILE driving! Dealer & GM says they don't have a fix for this yet! Unfortunately my state DOESN'T HAVE A LEMON LAW!! Mileage not even close to estimates, and have tried very conservative driving styles, lucky to get 20mpg hwy. I AM SO SORRY to have ever bought the Equinox!!!...read morehide
