- This car has power, room, quality, style, handling, features - an all around great value.
- This may not be a car for teenagers - the 3.9 L could get them into trouble with the law!
Purchased As Used
Bought this 2006 fleet car with 10K miles, and have run this car out an additional 20K miles, and so far it's the best sedan we've ever had. The boys and girls at GM have done an admirable job on this family sedan. The Impala is a great family value that the teenagers like for styling, too. It has a wide array of features, and all of them work flawlessly. It even has an Ipod dock in the factory stereo! The 3.9 litre engine with traction control, ABS, and 18 inch rubber eats Camry's and Accords for lunch and spits them to the salvage yard, all while getting impressive fuel economy and hauling more passengers than they can. It's got a HUGE trunk that takes a two family trip to Costco in stride. Try that with an import! So far, only one trip in for a minor repair at 30K miles. We bought it for the safety of the side airbags and exceptional power - the car excels at running brutal short trips with a daily early morning 0-60MPH rapid acceleration onto a busy state highway I recommend this car to anyone in the market for a sedan Choose the small V6 if your premium is mileage, but choose the awesome 3.9 for the impressive pulling power. We are seriously considering a 2008, since they are such a bargain - but this one is flawless, and trading seems kind of silly.
