Purchased As Used
i bought a 2006 impala LS about a year ago with 33,000 miles on it.loved it then. love it now. no problems as of yet.i liked the buick lucerne and lacrosse. both were a little more than i wanted to spend at the time. i tried to read as many user reports as possible because people are usually brutally honest.most reports at the time were good and accurate.( the wind noise) my main issue isnt really about he impala itself but american cars in general.my impala has the standard 3.5 v-6 12 valve engine that makes 210hp.nissan has the same size engine with 24valves that makes close to 300hp and close if not the same mpg and american car makers really have to get with the program.not only with power but reliability.i bought an american car not because its american, but because it was cheap. and it was cheap because its american.the impala i thought i was getting a deal on a year ago( around 11 grand) now, with the same mileage my car on it when i got mine, can be had for under 8 grand. and its a 3 year old car.try pricing a 3 year old honda, nissan, toyota, etc and see what it sets you back.as this rate, and with 4 years left to pay on my impala, i'm expecting my impala to be worth about the same amount of money as a new pair of jordans at the end of my term.
