I can't believe all of these good reviews for this car. Are any of them under 75? Have they driven any other cars built this decade,? Heck even the last decade.
I drove one of these (the LTZ full load model) for two weeks and several thousand miles, not just around the block.
This car has less pick up and go than a mid '80's Chevy Celebrity (I drove one back then so know) and all the comfort of a bus-stop bench.
For starters when you hit the accelerator to merge onto the highway the powertrain takes literally a couple of seconds to respond. The steering feels like it was taken from a '77 Impala. This is an accident waiting to happen. This car just doesn't respond anywhere near what one would expect for an average contemporary sedan.
Then there are the front seats. I am guessing if you weigh close to 300 pounds you may find them OK, but for anyone smaller they are so wide and flat you slide all over them. Your back will hate you for more than an hour on them too. The headrests force your head uncomfrotably far forward, after 30 mins like this you look like granny hunched over the steering wheel. Better schedule a trip to the chiropractor.
Seriously, if you even think about buying one of these PLEEEEAAASSEE save yourself the agony and take another comparable car for a test drive.
