2004 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx User Reviews
- $4,566 - $5,134

- comfortable ride, good MPG, DVD player, lots of space
- many problems, things break easily
Purchased As Used
I bought this car for $6500 in October of 2011 with 100,000 miles on it. I wanted a Malibu but fell in love with the Maxx after seeing the features and driving it. The ride is very smooth. My cousins love watching DVDs in it. It has a LOT of room. I've been able to fit a bike in the back as well as a pretty big computer desk. The stereo is great. If you turn the bass on with the DVD player, it feels like you're in a movie theater.
Some problems with the car: I've had to replace many things. Water pump, wheel bearing, driver's seat twice, keyless entry remote. The remote start doesn't work, even after being replaced.
Overall, it's a pretty good car, when something isn't wrong with it. I put about 250 miles on it every week and it does well on gas. After a road trip, I had 350 miles on the tank.
