2006 Chevrolet Malibu User Reviews
- $5,287 - $7,481
- No trim specified for this review
- Reliability at 355K miles, MPG, maint & repair costs
- tire size, cheap grille, need darker glass
Purchased As New
with 355,000 miles i have only replaced one wheel bearing assembly of approx $300. NO OTHER REPAIR items. i consistently get 33 to 36 mpg. Great in the mountains. Brakes last 150K miles, tune-ups at 150K miles, original trasmission is as new.
the 225-50-17 tire size is a low profile that typically wears poorly. The best tire i found is the Goodyear triple tred, which i finally recorded 90,000 miles on a set. Other tires do poorly, even when you watch the pressure like a hawk--to be at 30-32 psi.
