- great look and something different
- legroom and ride
I recently test drove this vehicle and hate it. The ride is stiff and has tight handling. The legroom in the second row is non existent. Your knees are touching the seat in front of you. The third row is ok but your knees are raised up to your chest. It is like you are sitting on the ground. And the third row seats still don't fold into the floor. The gas is ok but still not good enough. I am going to purchash a Infiniti Qx56. It is a good vehicle and has plenty of legroom for onley $3,ooo more. Plus the third row folds into the floor....read morehide

- Interior much improved, drives well in snow/ice, handles well, reasonable price for features
- mileage not as good as claim, visibility bad-high rear seat, seats could be more comfortable
Overall great vehicle for price if get LT3 package. Already put a couple thousand miles on vehicle but only getting between 17-18 mpg on highway. Quiet ride.

- Excelent truck. Good ride, great 4WD in snow, dependable, great confort, On Star
- Found no real cons
Chevrolet is to USA, as Mercedez is to Germany, as Fiat is to Italy, as Peougot is to France. CAN'T GO WRONG WITH A CHEVY TRUCK IN THE USA. HERE YOU DONT NEED EXPENSIVE FOREIGN TRUCKS, NO SIR!! NOT AT ALL. ALL YOU NEED IS A GREAT TAHOE, OR SUBURBAN. YOU ARE REALLY MISSING SOMETHING GOOD IF YOU DONT GET A CHEVY TRUCK. GET ONE NOW!!!!YOU WILL LOVE IT.!!FOR EVER!!!!...read morehide

- excellent interior, comfortable seats, advanced gas engine
- 4 speed automatic out-of-date, overweight, non mouvable seconr row seats
I think it's about time to have vehicles, especially full size SUVs, equipped with diesel engines (in this case with 6.6 Duramax and 6 speed Hydra-Matic 6L80 or 5.0 V6 Duramax engine). There is no excuse that diesel engines are polluting, they are green enough. The European producers of SUVs and passanger cars have about 40% of them powered by diesel engines.
Why is the new model in regard to the old 10% heavier in weight instead of being 10% lighter using the lighter materials and modern construction?
Independent suspension on the rear axel is also something that would bring this SUV closer to the TOP of SUVs.
When designing the new model, cosmetical changes should be brought down to minimum and I think taht the GM should introduce advanced technology to all segments of the vehicles....read morehide

- Fit and Finish Top Notch, look out Toyota and Ford
- For 50k, Sunroof should be standard
What a difference from the 05/06-07 model. I noticed the brakes are much better, the interior looks outstanding, GM finally got rid of the designer who was stuck in the 80's. The leather is real this time around. The 320 hp is powerful, could not tell that the engine was loosing four cylinders (new feature). Vehicle comes with several NEW gadgets,(rain sensing wipers, heated windshield washer fluid, 20 inch wheels, power lift gate) Overall this is the best Truck/suv that I have test drove over the last 3mths....read morehide

- Great ride, beautiful interior, good price, very refined...not a truck anymore
- Not getting the claimed 22mpg on the highway, headroom could be better
My wife and I bought one last week. We put about 500 miles on it so far and have only got 17 mpg...a far cry from the 22 mpg hwy. The driving has been 80% highway. This was the main reason we bought it. We are planning a long trip in March. Hopefully it will get better.
I am a tall guy (6ft 4in) and my head comes too close to the roof for comfort. We have the sunroof and DVD player and it might contribute to the lack of headroom.
The ride is smooth and handling is responsive. The leather is defintely a step up from previous tahoes. Plenty of horsepower for anyone.
Other than that my wife and i fight over who gets to drive it. Hope this helps....read morehide

- Excellent interior. Leather seats are very luxurious. Fuel economy is very good for a full sized SUV
- 4 speed transmission could be improved upon.
I have driven Toyotas for years because I believed they were far better than anything that came out of Detroit. That may have been true in the past, but not anymore. I traded in my 2005 Toyota Sequoia for a 2007 Tahoe and I still can't believe the difference. This vehicle has convinced me that GM is headed in right direction....read morehide

- Huge improvements on all aspects, Leather is actually not vinyl, quiet and refined
- Still has the ancient 4spd!!
As an owner of a 2004 Tahoe the new is lightyears better in all ways. No vinyleather, actually real leather, dash has no circus, no mousefur headliner, and last but not least no velcrow to hold the plastic on. Chevy could have had a huge impact with this truck except they cease to get with the times and give you a 5 or 6spd auto. The 4spd is old and outdated, too bad GM had to cut a huge corner on an otherwise nice truck....read morehide

- This Active Fuel Management is amazing - great economy for size
- Can't find any
The all new 2007 Tahoe is incredible. Love the Navigation system with built in back-up camera. My kids love the heated rear seats. The ride is better than my old Lexus RX330 and the interior finish is just beautiful. Chevy has made a remarkable turn-around with this design from previous ones. The style is first class and the fit and finish is really amazing. I found alot of great information on www.chevyoffers.com website and my dealer, KARL Chevrolet got me quick delivery. I have the LTZ model loaded with features like heated windshield washer fluid, iPod jack in the stereo, 20" wheels and other cool stuff. Very impressive vehicle - and while I haven't seen any others on the road yet - I expect I'll be seeing alot of other 2007 Tahoes soon....read morehide
