- Lots of room and great features, easy to drive and very smooth on the highway.
- Can feel the engine idle at times, brakes seems to warp a little easy.
Automatic V4 mode makes great mileage out of this big truck! On long rides I am getting 23+ mpg.
I think that the truck is a little pricey for a Chevy truck, but dealer had great incentives on buying - took over 10k off sticker and 0% financing.

- Great Fuel Economy, Seats are extrelemy comfortable for first and second row passengers.
- There is nothing to dislike about a Tahoe
The Tahoe is very well designed. It gets impressive fuel economy for its 5.3L v8 engine. The seats are very comfortable even on long rides. Tows every thing we need it to. Handles well on every road condition imaginable. The GPS Navigation System is easy to use. The Onstar system combined with the Navigation makes traveling a breeze!! No more bringing big bulky road maps and driving directions. Love XM radio. Very quiet even on highway. Kids love the rear seat entertainment system. Its nice too for long trips--the kids don't get quite as bored. I am so glad it has the remote powered liftgate! Makes unloading and loading very easy. Absoultely love the back up camera!! I know its a ton of money to get one of these, but if you can do so. You will never regreat it. Even the base model Tahoe is nice....read morehide

- Great Looking Vehicle, Active Fuel Management, Comfortable Ride, Navigation System, ETC ETC ETC!!!!!
- More Pros-Touch Screen Radio, MP3 Player Plug In, Great Factory Bose Sound System, Heated Seats!!!
I was driving 2006 Honda Pilot and never thought I would drive American Made...I was proved very wrong. I traded in the Pilot for a 2008 Tahoe LTZ. I love my Tahoe LTZ, not only is it a nice looking car to drive but it comes with all the bells and whistles. My Pilot was loaded but the Tahoe smokes the Pilot when it comes to accessories. The Tahoe has the power you want with a decent fuel mileage for the size of SUV that it is. I love the back up camera and the back up sensors are a major plus. The seats are heated not only in the front seats but also in the second row bucket seats. It is very easy to handle especially for someone that started out driving a small mid sized SUV. I was afraid I wouldnt be able to park it in my work parking garage but I was pleasantly suprised. I love the power mirrors so if you have a tight spot to park you can pull the mirrors in so you decrease the chance of someone taking one of them off. :-) Overall it is a great purchase and I would recommend it to anyone....read morehide

- Everything is Great
This is the best SUV in the world! I have owned several suv's, not to mention that my husband is an executive at one of Chevy's competitors and gets to bring free ones home quite often, however none can compare to my Tahoe. I just love the sophisticated and classy style of the LTZ, the smooth ride, the navigation system, rear camera assist, etc., etc. I could go on days about how much I love my Tahoe. Great job Chevy!!!...read morehide

- Heated frt&rear seats,20 inch wheels,great fuel economy,ergophobia!!
- Brakes soft,5.3l motor with v8/v4mode should be manual overideable,100 mph limited not cool
There are alot of choices out there for fullsize S.U.Vs ,G.M came up with a universal one-Escalade/Yukon/Tahoe...It is in that order ironicly enough that these fuel mongers are staged.Your average soccer mom cant tell the split between them however some people can.The Tahoe all in alkl is a great truck for the money. The LTZ model is essentialy
a escalade without the badging and the Balls. The V8/V4 5.3l engine That can run on e85 ethanol is killing the performance. I see it as useless. It never stays in one mode so whats the sense?I traded in my 03 Denali for this 2008 LTZ Tahoe and am kinda upset.I mean even the H-2 Hummer now has 393 horsepower! The caddy has 403HP,The Yukon has the optional engine ,and BANG!! the tahoe gets the beauty but not the balls and maybe half a brain.I mean my ltz is black on black leather loaded thru the nose with options ,many options that garnish the escalade. Why the lack in power?"Tree Hugging green peacers that dont realize we will use just as much fuel if not more with a rig like this because we will be constantly seeking the powerband. In other words its like your buddy that buys his first motorcycle and says "i only want a 600cc bike because im a beginner"
Then once he learns how to ride a month later he or she is looking to sell and buy a 1000cc,cmon you know its true.Remember The chrysler lebaron with the aftermarket mercedes SL500 Body kit?Well thats kinda how I feel driving my new tahoe.....read morehide
