Purchased As New
Do not expect to get more than 13mpg city and 22mpg highway.
The transmission loves to shift down but hates to shift up. This is a big heavy cross-over with big tires. Back in the 50s, we referred to this as a slip-a-matic transmission. I suspect someone bought someone an expensive lunch to publish the mpg numbers. A friend of mine had me fill up "with real gas" at a refrinery gas station in Bakersfield. My gas mileage went up by 3 mpg. After a few out of state trips I realized that California gas is more expensive in more that one way.
