- Solid. Great city MPG. great investment
Purchased As New
Former Cadillac owner.
I get 153 MPG city driving. City owned power company = $0.08.8 per KWH. $0.90 per charge/40 miles per charge. $3.75 for gas = 160 MPG city.
New CTS = $45,000. 10 years worth of city gas = $12,000. Total = $57,000.
my new Volt = $39,000 (basic trim). - $7,500 tax credit - $12,000 saved gas. Final cost = $19,500.
I bought the Volt for it's green aspect. I have since completely fallen in love with this car. I have owned Caddy's since 1978.
Nobody thinks the guy pumping $100 into his SUV's gas tank (every week!) is a fool. Only the guy driving the electric car as he goes by the gas station! I've got mine and I'm HAPPY!!!
