I bought this car because it was cheap, a chevy (well, Dia woo) and mileage. It is consistantly in the mid 30's mpg. Pwr is acceptable and overall comfort is good. Good storage (trunk). A good buy for the money.
my dealer however, is usless, they bagered me over and over to give a good report on chevy dealer survey, I did not like that. Service (when needed) is only so so....they are only after a good CSI without the effort.

I bought this car new & what a problem already. I must have went back to this dealer muller chevey in stewartsville nj who has2 different sets of prices on cars there fore I got ripped off but they keep saying nothing wrong with it. the brake light goes on & off, it has a very rough ride like a 18 wheeler, has wind tunnel effects with widows up you cant shut off the cold air like an open vent constanly. cars & truck wiz by & ure blown all around every crack in the highway it sways back & forth u almost lose control , the digital odometer adds miles to the car, backing up you hear a clunk. i thought i had something in trunk, ohoh the coffee holders R A JOKE oh god they have spings that close putting a hot cup of coffee in them is a sue job waiting mmmm thats an idea! this auto is worse than the pinto & very scary to drive not recommended in my book!!!!!!

I have a 2006 LS with 43000 miles. Last weekend it wouldn't shift out of park without depressing the release button, the cruise control stopped working and the check engine light came on! I wouldn't expect this with only 43000 miles.

I consistently get 38 to 41 MPG by driving 60 MPH in my AVEO. For the money, it's a much better deal than the MINI. Don't listen to the hype from trendy idiots who prefer foreign cars. This is a great car and less expensive per mile (considering gas and the monthly payments) than other little cars.

I currently own a 2008 LS with pretty much all the goodies. My sister purchased one and I was so surprised I went out and looked for one.. Great looks in a cheap little package. I went from a sports car to this and the transition was rough at first due to the lack in power but sacrificing the power was well worth not having to do Mobil-1 oil changes and using premium gas. $20 in gas at $4 a gallon got me 210 miles in a recent trip doing 70mph pretty much the whole way. My Aveo has almost 10k on it and it looks like it came out of the showroom. Oh and a GM warranty beats a chrysler any day. Id recommend the auto with cruise control option since it is reasonable enough. Replacement parts are also dirt cheap for this (Brakes, tires..etc) I looked into this before purchasing the vehicle and it only helped with the decision. Interior has a lot of space for 2 people but 4 adults makes it a tad over-comfy.

Bought my wife a 2008 Aveo LT in September of 2007. We are very pleased with the vehcile. Good gas mileage around town and very good on the highway. Looked at several different vehicles after looking at the Aveo and came back for the Aveo for it's looks. Would recommend the Aveo highly. The Aveo has been back to the dealer shop for oil changes only.

I own a 2004 Aveo, and I love it!!..This is a spiffy little car, and the gas mileage I get is 35-40mpg. I drive 42 miles one way everyday, and when the idiots get in my way--I pass them..They are simple amazed how much pick-up this little spit fire has and I just laugh at them. Wouldn't buy anything else..A really great GM vehicle.

I just bought a 2008 LS Aveo and I have to say it is growing on me....what first sold me was the price and then the exterior and then the interior and then the MPG and well everything else. Yes it is true all you get is the basics but you can put upgrades in the car if you feel like it. The LS does not come with a cd player so I have installed one..the sound is AWESOME! For a little car like that to make that kind of noise is great! I have yet to fill up my tank and I have had it for over a week and a half...and I do alot of driving. Overall I love my car I am glad I have something new and it does what it needs to do..if all of you are debating that is ok, but just know this if you stay on top of this car you will not have any problems...oil change, tires in the winter etc....with the way the economy is today why not go for a better smaller car? Gas is high but with this car you will not be going to the pump so often. Well I could say more but then that would take all the fun out......happy driving

I have the 2007 Spring Edition Maui Blue model. I love it! It is great for me to drive back and forth to work and run around town in. I must say that this car was not built for long distance cross country driving, but it is great for an everyday driver. Sure its not a sports car, but its not meant to be. If you want luxury, buy a luxury car, if you want a sports car, buy a sports car, but if you want an in-expensive, reliable, good looking car, get the Aveo.

Very poor gas mileage for a small car and no power, especially if you have to use the A/C. OH! and DON"T FORGET TO CHANGE THE TIMING BELT EXACTLY WHEN IT SAYS. Mine cost me 2,300.00 in engine repairs. The car isn't worth much more than that.
