2008 Chrysler 300

- The Touring is an excellent long distance car, very comfortable, good acceleration.
- Somewhat affected by sidewinds. but easily correctable.
2007 Touring model (60Kmiles), I moved up from 2005 2.7L model (87Kmiles) which I found to be good but underpowered. Change in mpg is -0.5mpg, to 23.5mpg mostly highway and that penalty is well worth the added power. Body style is still sharp after several years. Comfort is excellent - just match the space with any other car! Only mech repair for both models is a recent automatic transmission computer module replacement. That was the cause of engine cut-out - diagnosed first visit at dealer. I always enjoy drives in my Touring, it is a best value car. Also it ranks among the safest of vehicles for body strength and passenger compartment integrity....read morehide

- Looks Great! Rides Wonderful
My husband and I purchased the 2008 Touring edition back in November and we love it! I couldn't have asked for a better vehicle. I love the overall appearance but the front of this vehicle is my favorite part.....when you look in your rear view mirror and see this vehicle coming, it looks as if it's saying "get out of my way"! I love it!...read morehide

- seats comfortable,Boston sound cool,nice trunk size
- blind spots,mileage,cornering poor,mirror opticals,door lock options.
car can move or lose road at high speeds with cross winds.Low profile
aerodynamics should be reviewed by engineers.Blind spots are dangerous.Probably due to pillar design, mirror design optics.seat belt
warning needs to be toned down(like Lexus).Brakes start making noise if heated up.door lock options need to be reviewed for easier
access to rear seat.nice trunk!...read morehide

- Good fuel economy!!
I love my 300 Touring (2006). I like the style and the fact that it is a classy looking car at more than half the price. Picked it up at an auction in Florida and I have had no problems with it. (Find some wood to knock on later.) The only small issue was self imposed with the tint job I have had on it the Chrysler dealership won't inspect it, but other lots will. All of the ones I have seen in my area are all tinted as dark as mine or darker so maybe they have the same issue. Overall I am very happy with it. Best buy of my adult life!!!!!!...read morehide

- Attractive and well appointed.
- Castrated the engine by putting a 4 speed auto trans in it.
I was going to upgrade my 2006 300 Touring to a 2008. Some idiot at Chrysler ruined the car by taking the 5 speed auto transmission out of it and putting the Limited's 4 speed in it. It is no longer the responsive well powered machine that it was. It really struggles now when attempting to pass and at highway speeds. What a blunder!...read morehide

- I love this car, this is my first new car. Good on gas and comfortable to drive and ride in.
- The only thing is it didn't come with auto headlights but no big deal.
One of the best if not the best cars for under 30 k. Ford and Chevy can't touch it. RWD and plenty of power nice quiet ride great job! Looks blow ford and chevy out of the water!

- I just bought a 300 and find the comfort level of this car to be outstanding. I love the styling
- The headroom in the vehilce may not be enough for some taller consumers.
I highly recommend this car. Interior is comfortable with a lot of room for a vehicle of this price range. Chrysler has a winner with this car. I rent a lot of cars when I travel and this car beats all of the Chevys, Pontiacs, Hyundais, Toyotas, and Hondas that you get when renting a vehicle. I see a lot of reviews of the 2007 model comparing this car to BMWs and Lexus. For the money, the Chrysler is much better buy....read morehide
