- I love the big Hemi Engine I like the MyGig package too. I love everything about my beautiful Aspen.
- NONE I have had no problems at all.
Purchased As New
I love my Chrysler Aspen 4x4. I love the power from the Hemi and I also like the MyGig where I can store pictures and songs on the hard drive. The chrome looks great and I love the big wheels. I got my Aspen loaded to the top and I love the Power Liftgate. You should get a Chrysler Aspen.
I traded in my Jeep Grand Cherokee for this beautiful car and have not had one problem with it. The remote start is worth the extra $300.00 because it heats up or cools down your car with a touch of a button. I also like the key because you don't have to be 30ft. away like you do with the Tahoe or Yukon.
I looked at many other cars too like the Yukon,Tahoe,Escalade, and Sequoia and Aspen won hands down.
I love my Aspen and always will. You should buy the Aspen you can't compete with the Tahoe because of the great price....read morehide

- Looks awesome, drives great, comfortable, decent gas milage for size
- None I know of
I bought this Aspen for my wife whoneeds an SUV for her craft shows. She absolutely loves it. The features for the money far surpass other SUV's. The backup sensors and camara have saved me from backing out of tight spots on many occassions. The automatic lift gate will spoil you when you have to load stuff in the back.
We have owned several Chrysler products over the years and I have never had many problems with any of them. I don't understand why Chrysler gets such a bad rap. It also comes with the lifetime powertrain warranty and we purchaged the lifetime warranty for the rest of the vehicle, so we will have worry free enjoyment with this car for many years to come.
I'm also quite happy with the gas milage. I wasn't expecting much, since it is an SUV, but the first weekend we had it, I took an 800 mile round trip with it and got over 20 miles per gallon on the highway! It wasn't even "broken in" yet. I hope Chrysler survives. I like their cars. Their styling, the comfort, the performance, blows all the other domestic and many of the foreign car makers way....read morehide

- drives smooth, roomy for family
- paint has orange peel, gas mileage
I bought my Aspen in July 08. I love the way it drives. Not a super big suv but with all the power. We have the hemi. Gas mileage isnt too great but what do you expect with a suv. I didnt buy it to save on gas but it would have been a plus. We got a great price on the j package. The only thing I notice was the paint, it has a orange peel to it. If you look at it the paint looks like it has dimples, I ask a friend of mine that paints cars and said that alot of the new cars have this type paint jobs. To save money I guess . Other then that I love my new ASPEN....read morehide

- Looks nice when parked at service deparment
- LEMON from Day 1, returned immedately, took 6 month to get money back
Car was taken back two days after I bought it for shaking violently on highway. The dealer, Trend Motors - Succasunna, NJ, changed the tires and TOLD US IT WAS SAFE TO DRIVE, drove it home, problem not fixed and took it back to service the next day. Trend Motors Service and Chrysler REPEATADLTY TOLD TO DRIVE THE CAR WITHOUT KNOWING WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS. The also told us they were having the same problem with other cars and then later denied saying that. The replaced exhaust and driveshaft and problem was not fixed, after 3 months (I only had the car for about 10 days, the rest of time was parked at dealer) I finally refused to take car back and hired a lawyer. The originally refused to acknowledge the car as a LEMON and refused to settle. My attorney had to threaten a fraud suit in superior court before Chrysler offered a refund. Then the settlement process took over 7 weeks. All the while Chrysler Financial required us to make monthly payments and threaten our credit if payment were missed.
Chrysler Corporate, Trend Motors and Chrysler Financial not only did everything to try and force us to drive this unsafe vehicle but also treated us like liars and deadbeats throughout the entire process. I strongly encourage you to go someplace else. Buy a different car....read morehide

- easy to handle, drives very nice, looks great and is comfortable. Quality & Luxury at a good price.
- Gas milage should be better. Side veiw mirror housing should have pwr. in/out folding in J package.
The Aspen Limited J package is a very good Luxury SUV for the money which ain't cheap but is exceptable and should compete well with other SUV's in it's class.

- Everything about the Chrysler Aspen is a PRO!!!
I have owned my Aspen for a year now ~ I have never had any problems with it whatsoever!
The interior is well put together and sturdy, the kids have their own heated seats which they LOVE in the winter. The leather seems to be strong & long lasting unlike other leather seats i've had in the past which crack & split over the years. I don't know if Chrysler would recomend it but I have washed all my floormats in my home wash machine & they come completely clean & back to new- The Aspen logo on them is white again!!
I have towed trailers loaded & empty with my Aspen & don't notice any difference from regular driving ~ no slowing, stopping, rear weight or tug feelings.
Drives awesome, corners comfortably without any tipping feeling.
The one thing I have noticed that I have never experienced with any other vehicle I have ever driven is that my Aspen will coast forever!!!!
On flat land, letting off the gas @ 50 MPH, it will gradually slow for atleast 1/2 mile before my speed will drop to 40MPH!! This could be considered a bad thing if you don't use it wisely because you could be on your brakes a lot. ~ I like to coast :)...read morehide

- Smooth ride; Excellent features
- Fuel Econony is not what is advertised. Leather is Spartan could be better quality
Overall happy with the vehicle. Purchased it with a Chrysler Greenslip from dealer in Franfort, IN. This is a Loaded Cool Vanilla SUV. Have all the options! A $43,000 MSRP picked it up for $35,200. Almost $8,000 off of retail.
Gas mileage is impossible to get over 11.5MPG.
That is the only fault. My wife liked the leather quality which was in her 2004 Pacifica. Its better quality. The 4 bucket seats(heated) with consoles frontand back is great. Rear DVD; Nav system all wonderful....read morehide

- smooth ride, excellent features, fair milage for larger suv
- more rear leg room
We recently purchased a 2008 aspen and we are very happy with our choice. A very smooth ride, all the features of the pricier suv's and mileage isn't too bad for a larger vehicle. Averaging 19 hwy.

- Price with all the extras
- Fuel economy isn't so great
Great SUV for the dollar. Nothing is lacking on the J package. Keep the RMP's down and your gas mileage won't go under what's quoted on the sticker. I've gotten multiple compliments on the style & color (cognac crystal). I wouldn't go back to my mini van or my compact SUV I had previously. And I didn't test drive anything better in the price range. In fact, most everything else couldn't even touch the Aspen for bells and whistles that come with it....read morehide

- Easy on the wallet 'Escalade value', fun and smooth engine, GREAT looks (admiring stares), comfort
- gas mileage is expectedly average
I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Great fun driving it..very smooth, yet powerful. The size is just perfect for our family and dog on trips. I love to get it washed. What as Chrysler thinking waiting this long to introduce this version of the Durango?!
