2009 Chrysler Aspen User Reviews
Limited 4X2 shown
- $17,305 - $18,773
- No trim specified for this review
- Fuel economy runs 14-17 not as good as my Lincoln Navigator
- Rides harder, seats less comfortable, motor boggs down at times.
I have had two Lincoln Navigators and went to the Aspen for cost and style. At first I did not like it as the seats are not comfortable as I like. Hard and not as adjustable.
It needs a foot rest/block for the driver. I have the Hemmi engine and it makes a high pitch whine when letting off the gas. It boggs down when on an incline, sort of chokes up, then boom it is going.
It is not the favorite car, but for the money, it is growing on me.
I am a widow in my 60s and this gets me there. Not driven it in snow yet and a bit concerned about excelleration on inclines as it is not as predictable as I would like. My 4x4 Lincoln was excellent in all weather.
I wish it did better on gas, but for the most part it is nice.
