I purchased my 1999 LHS from a 90 year old man who bought it new. It had 39,000 miles on it when I bought it in 2011, and now has 67,000. I haven't had any problems with it what-so-ever in this time. I really like the comfort and size of the car. Power is quite good, but considering it has 253 hp, it seems like it should be better. I am not impressed with the fuel economy. I almost drive very mildly, and never use A/C or defrost when I don't have to, and I only average about 21-23 mpg. The very best I ave gotten is 26 mpg on a long highway trip. The car is excellent in the snow. I ave new all season Cooper tires, and it always remains well planted and allows me to drive confidentally, even when MN gets pounded with 8 inches of snow.
