2006 Chrysler Pacifica

- Excellent ride, very smooth, great seats - with comfortable support; very roomy; stereo is superb
- Gas mileage on mine is from 15 to 20 mpg, terrible; weak pick up speed
Like the rear interior red lights and beeping sound when you are coming close to something behind you.
Also has pretty good turning radius considering the size.
We are golfers, my husband, son and I can fit all our clubs, our dog and our luggage into the car and still have leisurely room for travelling. It is the perfect road trip car. The DVD player and remote headsets are great, picture has good clarity.
Stereo system is awesome, very good quality sound.
Love the rear cargo automatic door opener, great on rainy days when approaching the car with my arms full of groceries....read morehide

- NICE LOOK, SPACIOUS INTERIOR, 3RD ROW SEAT, NAVIGATION, POWER
THE PACIFICA IS ONE NICE CAR TO DRIVE AND WITH A REASONABLE PRICE TAG IS AFFORDABLE TO THE AVERAGE BUYER WHO WANTS A CAR AND A SUV. THE PACIFICA IS COMFORTABLE TO RIDE IN AND HAS POWER TO GET UP AND GO. THE SMOOTH SHIFTING OF THE TRANSMISSION IS SOMETHING TO PRAISE ABOUT AND THE INTERIOR LOOKS TERRIFIC, KINDA OF LUXURIOUS TO LOOK AT. THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS WRITTEN ARE ABOUT DUD, GARBAGE, ETC. MUST BE WRITTEN BY ONLY ONE, YOUNG DISTURB INDIVIDUAL WHO HAS AN AXE TO GRIND WITH CHRYSLER. ONE WOULD PITY THE FELLOW, BECAUSE HE COULD NOT TAKE IT TO CHRYSLER AND WRITES HIS SILLY REVIEWS!...read morehide

- Drives and handles like a regular sedan with responsive steering. Air conditioning is fantastic.
- Fuel mileage not terrific but what do you expect for a vehicle this size?
A suggestion for improvement would be illiminated cruise controls on the steering wheel. Another suggestion is to install small bubble mirrors on the outside mirrors to improve rear and side visibility. LOVE the handling, quick steering response and the smooth ride. Air conditioning is wonderful including great cooling in the rear area. Seats are very comfortable and supportive. Not sure yet about how well the suede leather seat bolsters will be to keep clean and how these will wear over time. Very useful vehicle with good carrying capacity without the bulk and truck like handling. Fuel mileage isn't great but acceptable for a vehicle of this size and weight. Power is very sufficient for both around town and road trips at freeway speeds. Overall am very satisfied with my 2006 Pacifica....read morehide

- Low end model but still lots of bells and whistles love radio controls in steering wheel
- Slow in getting to the power drags a little.
Great comfortable ride. Lots of power if you wait for it. Purchased my 2006 basic model pacifica 3 m onths ago. We love it. The best vehicle i have ever purchased. That coming from a hard core Ford man. Good family car.

- Very comfortable, Great car, great extras
- Not good on fuel, trunk is too small, engine should be a little more powerful
I would highly recommend for Chrysler to make the pacifica with a larger trunk and more fuel economical. I also recomend for a larger engine so the car has more powerful. The car is too heavy for the engine it has. I love my pacifica. I wish above all that the trunk was bigger.

- Styling and ride is at the top of my review along with the insider passenger space
- Blind spots
I read all of the reviews on this site and others before I purchased my 2005 Pacifica AWD Limited model. Just to add to the others, the car, in my opinion is a very good buy. The gas mileage is so-so, but the car rides like a cadillac! The perks that come with the limited are awsome. It will take you a while to figure out all of the bells and whistles with the AWD Limited!!! It seems as if they have thought of everything. The only real problem is the blind spots. Turning laterially means you have to really pay attention. Chryslers design that is also applicable to the 300 M is the same with the windows being very short in height and the view becomes more difficult as you look towards the rear because the sides of the car raise up to provide that sleek styling. The sensor on the rear bumber and the illuminated back-up light device above the third row seat is helpful when parking but while driving, the rear quadrant of the vehicle at both sides makes turning (particularly on the highway) difficult. Having said all of that it is just a beautiful car. Don't pay attention to the other reviews about the power of the vehicle, to me it is quite sufficient. If I wanted a sports car I would have bought one....read morehide

- great handling, great looks, great interior and space, beautifully appointed
- 250 horsepower is fine but imagine what a Hemi would do...
I just bought the Limited AWD Pacifica, fully loaded, and I LOVE IT. I have owned (in order, over the past 14 yrs) a Volvo 850Turbo Wagon, Mercedes 320E 4Matic Wagon, Infiniti FX35, Audi Allroad, Porsche Cayenne S, and a Lexus RX330. The Pacifica is the best of all worlds (and at a better price!) The design is outstanding. Loved the looks since it debuted at the Auto Shows several years ago - wish I had bought it then! The interior is well appointed and rivals the fit and finish of the finest imports. The handling and ride are superior to most of the others above because of the sporty feel and tight handling without sacrificing ride comfort. We are pleasantly surprised by the cavernous space provided to the second row passengers. The Pacifica Limited has all the bells and whistles at such a reasonable price, I'll be spoiled forever. It would be hard to settle for an import after owning the Pacifica. I won't be in the market for a new car for a long time....read morehide

- Comfort, style, GPS on dash, radio, just beutiful car
- wish it had rain sensitive wipers and parking sensors in front of car as well
The Pacifica is one awesome ride. I have a 2006 in pearl black, and its beutiful as well. I have owned many cars/suv's/vans in the past, and can't remember the last time I've had a vehicle that's rides as smooth and comfortable as this one.
I would prefer seat controls be on side of seat like jeep....read morehide
