All in all I love this car!! Before this I owned a Caravan, which I liked. We needed a new car but I didn't want another van or an SUV With 4 kids I need to seat 6. My husband suggested the Pacifica. He liked it so much, we bought an identical one!! The only difference is the VIN and plate number!!...read morehide

- sturdy, safe vehicle, lots of options, lots of space with back seats down,
- sluggish pickup, rear windows give a terrible wind vibration when open, Some AM station poor recep
I have a 2004 Pacifica. I had backended a ford cargo van on a rainy day and that van was crumple/damaged like crazy. When the investigator came to look at the damages to both vehicles, he could not find even a scratch on the pacifica! Safe vehicle. Too, it is a true crossover compared to some others. The vehicle is not too high to get into nor too low. Seniors like my mom who have arthritis find this comfortable when entering or exiting the vehicle.
I test drove the 07 pacifica. They have included a rear view camera, remote starter, hands free phone connection. And a 4.0 engine but same horsepower as previous ones, so I did not find much improvement in performance, I wish the engine could be more powerful. When driving, if you open the back windows, they give out a terrible wind noise in the 07s too. Chrysler never sent me a customer survey to get feed back on what all improvements could be done on the post 04 models.
04 steering wheel cruise controls and automatic shift do not have night lighting so engaging cruise or shifting auto at night is not comfortable. I haven't checked this on the 07. Some AM radio station signals get worse at some locations in the 04.
I will be getting a new crossover in a couple of months. I am not yet sure if I want to get the 07 pacifica....read morehide

- Aggressive styling, lots of room, powerful engine, value for the money.
- None worth mentioning.
We have had our 07' Pacifica Signature Series Touring Edition AWD for about two months now. We LOVE this car! When compared to others, this car beats out all the competition in safety, value, comfort and available features.
We opted for the Navigation System and Rear Back up camera; a must if you have little ones.
Gas mileage is better than I expected for a car of this weight and size. We have averaged 18mpg around town. Have yet to take it on a road trip.
We looked at purchasing this car for the past few years and are glad we waited for the 07'. They have put in a refined, better fuel efficent engine for 07, and added some few cosmetic changes which make the styling more aggressive....read morehide

- great handling, more power than the 2006
- computer display keys in bad position, can't see for the steering wheel; also poor gas mileage
I sure hope the gas mileage improves because so far the best I've got is 18 mpg on the highway going 60-65 mph. Also, hard to see what's behind you when you're backing up...

- New 4.0L engine in conjunction with six-speed transmission with auto stick, plus design of the car
- can not confortably carry six passegers.
I bought my signature series Pacifica about a month ago. My experience has been the best one possible. The combination of a new 4.0L engine with six-speed transmission provides great performance at low and high speeds. The design of the Pacifica is very stylish and interior looks fabuluos. The GPS and rear camera are well located and the dual (digital) temperature zone device works very well. The 07 version of this car is for sure the leader in its category....read morehide

- Comfort, Ride, Appearance, Price
- City MPG, Acceleration
We have a loaded awd 2004 Pacifica with 35,000miles. The car has been good to us, no mechanical issues whatsoever. We love to take it on trips, very comfortable and fun to drive on the highway. In town it is heavy feeling and kind of slow, but we didn't buy it to go fast.
Fuel economy is poor in the city, 15-17 mpg but great on the highway, 23-25.
We are considering the 2007 as our lease runs out, the 4.0 litre engine and 6 speed transmission (vs 3.5 and 4 speed) is supposedly very fast off the line and better on gas mileage.
Overall the Pacifica has been a great family vehicle for someone not ready to go the minivan route. We've been very satisfied during the past 3 years and have no regrets....read morehide

- Looks good, fairly comfortable and runs well
- the suspention in the front after 40,000 is loose and making clanking noises.
I paid close to 40,000 for my Pacifica when they first came out, and thats not with all the bells and whistles. The price for a new one has dropped since then so mine isn't worth much. I'm not happy with all the noise the suspension makes after only 40,000 miles. I was told by another mechanic that there was a repair bulletin out on this problem. You'd think if they knew there was a problem they would fix it. Other than that the car runs well and looks good....read morehide

- should have hydrolic cylinders on hood, rather than holding it then finding the litter arm to secure
MY first Pacifica was a 2004, my complaint with it was the transmission was clunky. The 3.5 V-6 was underpowered for size of vehicle. Moonroof
rattled. Overall I did like my vehicle. Styling inside and out is nice!
I'm leasing a 2007 Walter P. Chrysler Signature Series, so far my experience with it is a good one. I went with the 27 month Lease with 15,000 miles and negiotiated a $325/monthly payment. GM, Ford, Mazda comprable models in my area could not even come close to this deal. so it was not a rocket scientist decision making process. The 4.0 V-6 Six speed transmission is a improvement, however the transmission still does not always synchronize with the powerband of the vehicle to achieve my perfect score rating. I love the two tone seats and interior trim.
The 19" in lower profile tires really helps with handling versus the 17" wheel and tire combo offered on standard models. My 2004 pacifica had 17" wheels and I can tell an improvement. I test drove the GM and Ford products comprobable models "Blazer and new ford Edge" and did not like either of them compared to the Pacifica. Word of caution Shop dealerships carefully some offer good customer service and my last dealership experience with my 04 pacifica sucked! I have since changed dealership for purchasing and servicing my 07 Walter P. Seriers pacifica....read morehide

- Handles well and looks cool!
- Could use a bit more space to slide into the front seat.
I traded in my 4th minivan. I've driven one for the past 20 years. The kids are gone and my husband and I are empty-nesters. I was looking for THE vehicle to replace my van. Wasn't sure that I could find anything that would convince me to give it up. BUT!! I absolutely love my new Pacifica!! It handles much better than the van, the turning radius is super, and I love the styling! It has all the cool exrtras and I can't wait to get in and drive it!! Giving up my van was no big deal at all... once I drove a Pacifica! I'd like a bit more head room when getting into it, but maybe I was just used to the extra room from the mini van. If you're thinking of moving on from the soccer-mom image, the Pacifica is the perfect choice!...read morehide
