Purchased As New
I drive a 2009; purchased brand new. When my hubby bought this vehicle for me, we wanted something that would be easier for me to get out of. I had a very bad hip and trying to get out of my 1993 Thunderbird was very painful. My chief concern was finding a vehicle that had high seats. Basically, that was my only requirement. Got my wish! I have not had any pain getting into or out of it. Had hip replacement surgery in March 2010 and after several weeks, I could get into and drive it without a problem.
It handles really well, corners well, can get out of tight spaces well, and it has better mpg on the road. I drove it to New Mexico last summer, approximately 1,400 miles round trip. Handled great and got great mileage for a car that size. The rear seats folded down to handle all my luggage. Never had a qualm about car trouble along the way. Enjoyed the Sirius radio, too.
Even hubby likes to drive it. Whenever we go anywhere together, he drives the Cruiser.
This is the best "car" all around.
Thank you for making the PT Cruiser! It sure has helped me get around. .
