This is an AWESOME. The second I test drove it, I said this is my baby, I want it. I've had this car for a year, bought it with 62,000 miles on it, drives like a charm. I drove it across country when I moved back to Connecticut. Handles like a dream, drove through the mountains in Colorado and no problems at all. It has an excellent turning radius, looks good with top up or down and a very comfortable ride. When others are slip sliding around on snowy days I'm going just fine, no wonder there are so many of them in wintry new england, they are awesome in the snow. I'm hooked on the sebring now. She's got 86,000 miles on her, runs like the queen she is. I will always have a sebring convertible. Love this car, love it, love it, love it. I plan on keeping this one as long as possible, replacing anything that breaks. If and when the times come to get another car, it will be a sebring convertible but I might go for a higher model as leather or wood dash would be cool :)...read morehide

- Pros
- Silver with black top - black leather interior - very sharp. Great value
- Cons
- Hard to use front cup holders. Would like security system & fog lights standard on GTC
Purchased As Used
3 rd pre owned Sebring Convertible - silver with black top is most beautiful - black leather and interior trim super - Enjoy tight steering & mini spoiler on GTC. Great all year small family car - big trunk, large rear seat area for 2 door, front wheel drive, good mileage - excellent handling on road and in winter. Like addition of 2 cup holders in rear but front ones hard to get at. Passenger side sliding seat for easy rear entry a great feature and design. Best value - purchased 12/09 with 62K at $ 7,300.00....read morehide

- Pros
- Good looking car, fun to drive with top down
- Cons
- Fit & finish, depreciation, reliability, bad blind spots with top up
Purchased As Used
The bad: Typical Chrysler problems. They design a good looking car, but their engineering ruins it. We bought used with about 23K miles. At 25K the horn went beserk. Ended up pulling the fuse to kill it. Rear window defroster went out. Interior is cheaply made for a car that approached the price of a 3-series Beemer when new. At 55K, rear strut blew out, the suspension has never felt right. Now the driver's door is making a popping sound when opening. Car depreciated 70% in three years. The good: Cheap to pick up a used one, fun to drive with top down. Bottom line: Don't buy a new one. it will lose value so fast you will be hopelessly backwards on your loan. It is a cheaply made auto. If you want to drive a convertible, go rent one when you want one. This car would be good if it was used strictly on those sunny Sunday drives and parked the rest of the time as it is not a good everyday auto....read morehide

- Pros
- It makes me laugh!
- Cons
- With the top up, I can't see anything when backing up

It's candy apple red and this 71 year old just had to have it! Have only had the top up a few times-why have a convertible if you're gonna put the top up! Yes, I live in Nevada where summer temp is 110 plus but I can always turn the AC on! Seriously, I love the car! Haven't had rain since I got it so don't know if it leaks or not. I play NASCAR on the corners and just thoroughly enjoy my little red car. Like the lady on TV says, every senior should have one!...read morehide

- Cons
- I get lots of honks and stares with the top down :)!
Nothing else to say. After not buying a new car for over 10 years, I think I made a very quality choice in the Sebring. Its stylish, affordable, and the ride is smooth!

- Pros
- It takes he blues away. Fun to drive with the top down and great gas milage
- Cons
- It is the best convertible bar none
I went to purchase a 2008 model and after a short drive and a look at the trunk which does not exist I told the dealer i was really disapointed. So I said i may have to be satisfied with a Mustang. He said let me show you something and took me to see another car. He siad its a 2005 Touring and my response was I don't want a used car. Well he said that the great thing it is a brand new 2005. At first i though he was pulling my leg but after driving it and discovering it only had 208 miles on it I bought it with all the drive train protection and for 7 years and 70,000 miles and 3 years 36,000 on the whole car.
But i didnt have the option to get leather so i went to an after market place and had two tone leather seats installed. I love the car and it has all the comfort that my last two Chrysler Convertibles had and with the V6 engine it has plenty of get up and go. I cant believe that I fell into such a great deal and the Price was RIGHT....read morehide1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.

- Pros
- Great car, love everything about it.
- Cons
- Not enough hours in the day to drive it.
I have no complaints about my 2005 white Limited Sebring. I wanted a taupe top and got it. Mine even has a GPS system which is a great advantage for traveling. I get around 300 miles @ tank especially with the top down and not running the air. The heated seats are great in the winter but really not needed. The heat runs quick and hot.
I can put car seats in the back seat and have lots of room. In the back seat I've loaded it down for trips and it holds a lot of stuff. Can't say much for the trunk space, but the car does hold a ton of stuff when packed correctly.
My car has get up and go and I have no problem with it's handling. Of course it will be louder than normal cause it's a rag top, so those that think it's to loud need to get a different car.
The seats are so comfortable and with the 6 way power seats it's always a great ride.
I looked at trading it in for an 2008, but really don't like it. Looks cheap and like another run of the mill plastic car.. I have suede/leather seats, wood grain and leather wrapped steering wheel etc, and the new ones are just not made with the quality that the 2005 has.
I hope to keep this car for years to come as I love driving topless.. Makes people look.....read morehide3 out of 3 people found this review helpful.

- Pros
- living in CA with a convertible!
- Cons
- windy backseat, rear defroster never worked
I bought my '99 in 2001 with 54,000 mi on it. The first Chrysler ( and first convertible) I've ever owned. My kids called it my midlife Chrysler. After many years of hauling 4 kids around in old beat up station wagons, I treated myself to a great little car. I have loved every minute of it. It now has 121,000 mi on it ,and I'm looking to trade it in for a newer used model. For 6 years it has been virtually maintenance free. The only problem I ever had with my '99 was once when the reservoir that is under the car, that is supposed to enable rain water to drain when it goes into the area of the back part of the convertible, got plugged up with road debris. My Chrysler dealer maintenance guy new exactly how to unplug the reservoir and drain the water out ( the floor of the back seat had filled up with water which blew the radio transformer out ). However, I was disturbed that in all the times I'd taken it in for regular maintenance, this drainage problem had never been checked out before, and no one had ever mentioned this common problem to me before. Other than that and the rear window defroster never working, this car is a gem. Everyone should have the experience of driving through the California Redwoods, or down the California coast, or into the California Sierras in a convertible, and the Chrysler Sebring will always be my convertible of choice....read morehide
