Sporty and luxurious at the same time.

Parking is rough, low bumpers blind spots when backing up.

Overall I am satisified with this car, there are a few quirks that I still have to get used to, like when parking how not to hit the curb with the bumper and the blind spots. Bought this brand new and within the first week I had to take it to the shop. Broken overflow container and lost my anti-freeze. Engine cooling fan keeps coming on and temp gauge heats up??? Car has stalled a couple of times on me. Not sure why? Dealer can't find anything wrong with it. Never does it when it's there.
If I had to do it over again I would have bought a Honda. The resale value in the Sebring isn't there for the base model....read morehide

sluggish performance, lacks adaquate horse-power, over-priced vs. cars in its class

Road noise from "General Tires". I like the way the car sits low to the ground, but in reality, it's not very practical, as you risk bottoming the car out going up/ down steep hills and driving on un-even pavement. Interior is bland, should of had the white faced gauges that are better looking, and better lit than the funky old clock looking gauges that Chrysler chose for this ride, Chrysler really cut corners on interior design and quality of same ( No surprise ). Despite everything, I still like the car in a strange way, having purchased it new in April of '05, but, I must admit, I paid too much for it, as it really doesen't measure up to the competition in its class, other than exterior appearance, that's the biggest plus about this car of all....read morehide

I traded in a Cadillac Sadan Deville for this Sebring Limited and it was the best trade ever ! The heater in the Cadillac was terrible ! Did not blow heat from the dash vents ( car was made that way ?) The heater in this Sebring would cook you OUT , it`s awesome ! Now let`s talk about the premium gas this Cadillac used at $3.00 a gal. and it took approx. $42.00 every wk to fill , compared to $2.69 a gal. and $24.00 to fill every 2wks! I had my sebring coupe limited for about 6 months. I have few complaints about like the window streaks and the horsepower. Everytime I roll the windows down it leaves streaks on the window. It could use about 50 more horsepower. For the price its not a bad buy. Another thing I wish the car would have is power air condition. I also like the front of the car and the grill. It kinda looks like a aston martin vanquish. Purchase this car if you want something thats worth the money but remember that this car don't holds it value as well as honda and nissans....read morehide

This is my third Sebring; I previously owned two 99 lxi sebrings, a 99 pontiac firebird, and a 95 mustang gt convertible. This is one of my favorite cars that i have owned, despite the numerous problems that i have had. Although the car has been a total pain, i cant help but gawk at every sebring that passes and am also tempted to purchase another. The car lacks in so many ways, yet makes up for it in style. This car should come with more upscale luxuries such as automatic and xenon headlights, heated and dual powered seats, automatic air, and an option of a navigation system. This car should have come with a more powerful 265hp 3.5v6-at least! and a more common manual transmission. The interior could also use a splash of class. wood grain and a two tone interior would have been nice. Chrysler needs to do something about the in cabin noise, suspension, braking system, and hell-overall quality and value. I owe almost twice as much as this thing is worth!...read morehide

This is a great car. My previous car was a 2000 Dodge Stratus. I traded that in 2 months ago for a 2004 Sebring coupe, Limited Edition. This is one car that I honestly can say is a pleasure to own. First thing I�m always finding something new on it. The first thing is the rear view mirror that dims when someone behind you has their bright lights on, which is a great feature. The cruse control is great at holding your set speed even when going down hill. The sound system, 7 speaker infiniti system is excellent. The seats are comfortable and very relaxing on long drives. The engine is very responsive and makes it easy to merge into high speed traffic. I drove my car to Atlantic city a few weeks ago and the 2.5 hr drive was great. One thing I do have to say is that wind noise is barely noticeable, the engine was quite and the transmissions with it�s auto stick feature was flawless. I guess the only thing I had to complain about was that my vehicle did not have abs as a option. Which is fine, I think for the level of luxury, convinces, power, it�s a great buy and I would recommend this to anyone....read morehide

I scratched up the bottom of the car a lot b/c it is extremely low when coming out of driveways. The dealer says that they do not understand why my side driver and passenger windows keep getting streak marks. I think that there is a mechanical problem when I roll the windows down b/c they tried to fix it but it continues. They told me that it was something I was doing, but I saw other cars with the same problem and I've never had that problem with any other car. However, I still love the car b/c for the low price you get auto. windows, door locks and sunroof. I love the look of the car every time I see one and there is no other car that compares....read morehide

I have owned two cars before my purchase of my 04 Sebring Lmtd: a Jeep Cherokee and a Ford Expedition. I love the comfort in knowing you're in an SUV, and that you'll be safer in an accident. On the other hand, the Sebring has such precise handling capabilities, you can avoid many troubling times. I consider my Sebring to be an upgrade from my SUVs for several reasons: (1) It's a LOT quieter (2) It gets almost double the gas mileage - which is a definate plus these days (3) Maneuverability, acceleration, braking distance, luxury, and overall design and style are among of the wonderful attributes this car has to offer....read morehide
