- Preium luxury at a good price, beautifully designed.
- Only one thing, the front cup holders are placed in a bad spot.
Luxurious, comfortable, affordable, beautifully designed, Chrysler Sebring is definately a wonderful luxury car, with all the features of European luxury cars, only at an affordable price.

- Good performance for price. Lots of near luxury options. Surpisingly spacious for those under 6'.
- Leather is of poor quality. Seats are uncomfortable on long drives. TERRIBLE RESALE VALUE!
I had my 2002 sebring lxi for a little over two years, and put on about 35k miles. When I first purchased the car, I was absolutely thrilled at the looks of it and the fact that it was so well equipped for the price range.
While I never had anything technically wrong with the car (very dependable), the leather eventually began to stretch and lose its shape. The seats became increasingly uncomfortable. The longer I owned the car, the more the sub-par quality of the interior began to show. Moreover, while the car may handle well, the seats really don't support you going into turns, or accellerating. Both me and my passengers found ourselves sliding across the seats, despite having on a seat-belt.
Aside from that to be fair, I was relatively happy with the car. But since my company pays for my car and I'm on the road a lot, I figured it was time to trade up and buy a new car.
BUYER BEWARE...TRADE IN VALUE ON THIS CAR IS TERRIBLE. At first I thought it was the dealer messing with me, so I took it to multiple dealerships for quotes, and looked up value on edmunds.com. This car depreciated by nearly 50% in two years. (And I originally paid near invoice when I purchased it, so I didn't over pay either).
My advice is that if you plan to own the car for a long time (or don't care about resale value), and/or you want near luxury features for half the price along with above average performance and handling, this car is great.
If you plan on trading in two to four years and/or find comfort on long car rides important, then this car is probably not for you....read morehide
