I rented this car for a week from Hertz in Houston, and put 400 miles on it. The seat is so uncomfortable, and the 4 CYL engine is so bad. Everytime I accelerated, the engine made noises and gasing for air. When the AC was on, the sterring wheel shook badly. The seat was so uncomfortable for a short person (I am 5'6"). Everytime I sat in it, I kept changing position but could not find a position which could last an hour trip. My daughter 2005 Chevy Cobalt is a lot better in every way. Before buying this car, and if you a small person, drive it for a least an hour before sign the papers...I travel a lot and rented many car in my life...and this is the worsest car I have ever driven....read morehide

- Fairly good mileage, nice ride
- Transmission Performance
I just came back from a week in Arizona where I rented a Sebring 6 cyl sedan and drove it extensively in a variety of conditions. I found the car pretty comfortable and quiet. Most of the time I enjoyed its ride--especially while cruising the long highways, where once up to to speed, it did great. It was getting up to speed that was the problem, The car felt heavy, and the performance of its balky 4-speed automatic made poor use of the engine's power. This car cries out for a 5-speed auto, and better gear spacing. Then I'd like to drive it again. Not one squeak or rattle!! The car felt like it was built well. I was impressed. Better noise supression than my '04 Honda Accord 4cyl that I drive at home. But my Accord, with its 4cyl and 5peed auto will wipe up the Sebring, and deliver much better mileage at the same.time....read morehide

- gas economy is terrible. 15 mpg city/hwy
has been in shop fpr fuel economy/shorted out horn relay/loose steeringwheel.
RE fuel economy, am told "it will improve as engine gets broken in". I now have 9k miles, fuel economy is still terrible

- Great car. lots of interior room head and foot. big trunk great stereo from the factory.
- The car is to big to offer a 4cyl. it is underpowered and thristy. I get 18 mpg in city, slow
I loved the car. very easy to take apart to put my radio and new speakers in. The engine is big for a 4 but to small for a car that is 3300 pounds. That is a lot of car to be moving arround for a 4cyl.
The base model didnt come with ABS, seems kind of odd from a luxuary car.
I like the wheeles i got with the base modle, and the bucket seats.
overall great car for the value....read morehide

- BETTER THINGS TO COME FOR THIS UNDERATED CAR THIS 2007!
- NO TURNING BACK THE SUCCESS!
JUST GOT THE GLIMPSE OF THE NEW 2007 SEBRING, WHICH GOT A VERY DIFFERENT LOOK, A BEAUTIFUL STYLE THAT WILL BE VERY COMPETITIVE TO THE JAPANESE MODELS, WHICH SEEMS TO HAVE A LITTLE BIT OF A PROBLEM, ESPECIALLY THE TOYOTA'S AND THE HONDA'S. THIS WILL BE A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR THE U.S. CARS TO COVER LOST GROUND. THIS IS FOR YOUR INFORMATION!...read morehide

- No trim specified for this review
- unfortunately, this wonderful car loves "to eat"
This car is a must. I like European cars like BMW, but this one clearly killed my love for Euoropeans. It is excellent, that is the right word, I reccomend it to all my friends. Autostick is great.
This is truly the best car I have ever had in my life
