I never thought I'd ever own a Chrysler, let alone a Sebring. Something about Chrysler seemed, I don't know, cheesy to me. I can't explain it. Although this car wasn't on my list, I test drove one just for the heck of it.
I was almost immediately surpised by the quality of this car. The act of opening and closing the driver side door was my first clue that I might have been wrong about Chrysler. The car door opened and closed very solidly and reminded my of my last car, a BMW 325i. I think we've all opened and closed to doors on high and low quality cars - so you know what I mean!
I tested and bought the 4 cylinder, which is adequate. It's not going to win any races, but it's terrific on gas and zips me around town just fine. I am confident when I need to pass someone on the freeway, so it's all the power I need.
I found the cabin noise to be almost non-existant. It's very quiet. The driver side seat can be arranged in almost any way and is very comfortable.
The exterior styling reminds me of a Mercedes (for obvious reasons), It's certainly more stylish than the Accord, Camry or Fusion. It has a unique look, half aggressive, half refined.
What I love most of all are all of modern convenience features. I LOVE the two power sources (one in the "ash tray" area and one in the center console). I LOVE that I can play my Zune through the stereo. I LOVE that it has SIRIUS radio. I LOVE the uconnect (handsfree bluetooth).
This car is like the biggest secret its class. If you're in the market for an Accord, Camry or Fusion I strongly recommend that you give this car a try, too. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
