I love this car. I bought a 2009 Sebring Sedan -Limited used, I have to say I am so pleased with this car. I love the mileage it gets and the smooth ride. I purchased this car because I drive between 100 - 130 miles per day, and the gas was killing me in my Jeep Commander. Now I don't have to go the gas station everyday....read morehide

This car is a decent price. The MPG is ok. I was "in love" with this car before I purchased it. I did my research on it. As another person stated, the reviews spoke highly of this car. This was the beginning of the wool being pulled over my eyes. I purchased the car. Everything was just wonderful. Then as time passed, I started to notice small things. The loud engine, the lack of leg room, the bulky doors, etc. For the price, it's a good deal. If you are looking for sedan, this is not it. the Sebring is more like an economy car....read morehide

I am baffled by car reviewers' venom directed at this car. (When it first came out reviews were good and then all of a sudden the reviewers turned.)
This is a pleasant car with an airy, light cockpit and very good fuel economy. It has a bigger rear seat than its competitors--I know, I tried them all in the interests of my car pool--and a decent sized, easy to access trunk.
My Sebring has many features, including side air bags, stability control/antilock brakes, bluetooth phone connectivity, 8 way power seat and a hard drive radio with Sirrius, and I got it out the door for about $19,000, 6% tax and title included.
It is highly maneuverable--my son calls it the go-kart. I would call it small on the outside and big on the inside. It gets up to highway speeds without any difficulty, though its 4 cylinder engine needs to rev to do this, and it averages 30-33 mpg at 75 miles per hour on my 45 mile commute.
In fact, this is the car that many people really need--not a hot rocket sled that most reviewers seem to want it to be. It currently has over a year and 13,000 miles of use with absolutely no problems having arisen....read morehide8 out of 8 people found this review helpful.

I love my 2009 Sebring. This is my 2nd Sebring purchase, and overall I have had good luck with both of them. I love the gas mileage over 30 mpg on the highway. There is so much room inside and in the trunk. I love all the compliments that I've been getting. :)

I get more compliments on this car than any I've ever owned.. Rides better then my daughter-in-laws Toyota Camry. No problems, and have owned it 2 years. My neighbor has the hard-top convertible and loves his car too.. What gives with these auto writers giving this car such a low score.. They need to check with the people who own Sebrings to get a true opinion of this car....read morehide

For a v6 I get great gas mileage, 33.3 miles per gallon at 68 miles per hour. I have good power to enter the freeways. It is just a great car. I tried several during the cash for clunker days and this one was as good if not better than the others and the price was right with discounts. I have driven a Sebring 2.7v6 for many years and love this car. I hope to be satisfied for many years to come....read morehide

- Pros
- Ride comfort and smoothness, brakes, handling, simplicity of controls
- Cons
- Needs more insulation; interior quality
Purchased As New
I have the 2.7 V-6 which has plenty of power for all applications. Very smooth at highway speeds and on long trips. Nimble in city driving. 18-inch wheels and tires make a difference (Note: Car had ABS, but not ESP). Economy of about 24mpg overall. One thing Chrysler must do to improve the model is to spend a few bucks more on insulation and interior quality. For example, the wire harness needs to be anchored to the firewall or dashboard more effectively, and woodgrain would be much "warmer" than silver trim. Otherwise, and overall, I believe it is a fine car and I am very satisfied....read morehide

- Cons
- The braking system could have been better, Takes too long to slow down the car.

I purchased my Sebring during the cash for clunker program. I compared this car with the other sedan that was out there. This car either surpass the other or was just as good. The leg room in the Sebring is the same as the Impala. The options such as the alloy wheels and the 17 inch tires. The 6 diskCD changer. The back seat fold down to extend the trunk. all of these features make this car a great car. The gas mileage is great too. The design of the sun roof is great, The roof goes into the roof of the car. Instead of hanging out on the top of the roof....read morehide

Pros:
2.7 v6 is fuel efficient and responsive. The car has a very comfortable ride even on bumpy terrain. Satelite radio is awesome. Express windows for both driver and passenger very handy.
Cons:
The first time we hit the West Virginia mountain storms the standard tires were not impressive and the windshield wipers are a little snow compared to my Stratus. Overall we are very satisfied with the car and have recommend to friends....read morehide33 out of 34 people found this review helpful.
