2000 Chrysler Town & Country
There are 2 user reviews for the LXi Front Wheel Drive trim shown below
- Comfortable on long trips. Solid handling.
- None; it's a van, not a corolla (for economy) or a jetta (for handling)
Purchased As New
If you want and need a big van you'll really want it with the big engine too. Mine averaged (from Houston) 21-22mpg on a trip to Estes park, 3 people, full gear including food and a dog with the AC and travelling 70-80mph.
Easily configurable to maximize seating and storage on vacation trips, i.e., middle bench instead of two buckets.
The roundtrip up and down Pikes Peak we averaged 16 mpg and kept the brakes cool by using engine braking.
The paint and interior (leather) has held up well too; no blemishes or problems and the mother pearl finish still feels and polishes up like new.
Have had no problems with any of the systems on the van; however, the alignment problem with the serpentine belt was fixed by installation of a Gates dual sided belt and idler pulley.
