Purchased As New
We bought this car new in May 2010. At first, we loved it for all of the features and gadgets and what we thought was a great value....more than a $12,000 discount. The dual TV's certainly help keep the kids happy on road trips. The power doors and liftgate are very handy and the navigation system works well. However, after driving it for 10,000 miles, it already has more rattles than our Honda with 150,000 miles on it (Honda has no rattles at all). The gas mileage is MUCH WORSE than expected as we average ONLY 17 MPG (and we keep to the speed limits!) on highways. We also had to make several trips to the dealership for a check engine light error. There was never anything wrong, the light just had to be reset. The seats are cheap and uncomfortable compared to Toyota and Honda, but I guess you get what you pay for! Overall, although much more expensive, the Honda Odyssey or Toyota Sienna are much better options and when we're due for a new one in a few years, we'll be buying one of those.
