Eye Catcher

by SFA 71 from Victoria, Texas (10/10/08)
Pros:Looks
Cons:Oil Changes, Tires expensive, blind spot.

I have had a dozen cars in the last 45 years but had never had anyone come up & ask about a single one until we got this car. Most everyone we meet comments about what a neat car it is. It does cost a lot to change the oil & the rear tires did wear out way to soon but it is the most attention grabbing car I have ever owned. You don't see one every day which makes it special. In our town of 60,000 there are only 3 including ours & you can go months without seeing another one.
On the negative side, blind spots to the rear are terrible & it's a gamble any time you back out of a parking spot.
It's my wife's car & she get's a compliment every week.

Best Hot Rod I've ever owned, Stang 5.0 included..

by Jorge WP4KTF from Texas (10/10/08)
Pros:Powerful, rave reviews, powerful, Infinity...yes, powerful, roadgrabber, powerful, attn getter,po...
Cons:Where had you been all my life? LOL...why stop now, Chrysler???

I own an '05 Crossfire (SRT-6...330 hp!) and simply put, I LOVE THIS MACHINE. Attn.getter to the max, with rave reviews from EVERYONE on a DAILY basis. All Xfires have the same car body, but your modest rims and retract spoiler would be diff than mine (permanent lovely whale tail!). Expensive tires? Well, get a Prius and don't get this (AMG) SLK 230 with its 18 and 19 inchers then! Exp oil change? Do it yourself then, as I have...it's a labor of love! Why pay for something you can do better? Nice sound...tnx Infinity! So premium was $4.25, but it's coming down. If you can't handle blind spots and speed well, don't get this monster. It's small size (lightweight too) allow me to hide it in the garage, with room around for assorted junk. Small trunk? Vehicles are for transportation not storage. This beast's high on enjoyment, although it makes the rides to work too. Cup holders? Get a minivan then....Did I mention it's also powerful?...hoping that mine will last long enough to become a collector's piece. I will try my best! (Wife laughed when I said I want to be buried in mine....LOL)

Boy! I look good......

by YORKIEMOM from Little Rock, AR (10/03/08)
Pros:I JUST LOOK FABULOUS IN IT!!!!
Cons:cup holder and the expensive oil changes. Anything goes wrong it cost much more to fix it

I love this car. Very sporty and quite the eye catcher. Drives great for a roadster. Has the power when needed. It is my second car so I can JUST enjoy it for what it was meant to be....FUN!

caught in the crossfire

by Alexander Charles from Moreauville La (8/23/08)
Pros:Good looking car but inside is very small.
Cons:No mp3 player or bluetooth.

I have a 2007 crossfire and the is very nice. Gas miles is very reasonable. Tire is very costly and knott pop up on the tire side wall. The oil change cost too much. GPS dis did not come with the car.

Needs to be faster

by Rob from toledo ohio (8/14/08)
Pros:good economy ride is excellent
Cons:Slow to the draw ...not fast and rear tires don't last long + expensive

Nice riding and quiet for a convertible. Good workmanship and paint finish. Just too slow for $ 40,000.00 Nice stereo and sound, cool automatic spoiler.

Would but it again !

by Mark from Sugar Hill Ga, (7/22/08)
Pros:drives like it looks !!
Cons:cup holder and brake dust and expensive oil changes.

Still fun to drive after 1 year in the #1 traffic congestion city in the USA. Power and looks. I am 6'2" and feel like the car wraps around me when I drive. A radar detector should be standard with this car.

great car

by Stephen B. from Natchitoches, La (7/01/08)
Pros:great fuel.
Cons:cup holder.

I recently bought this little gem. With 45 miles on it, I immediately began racking up the miles. I live 270 miles from Dallas, and recorded 30mpg. by setting the cruise control. It gets great gas milage. I thought it was a fluke, so I did it again. Same results. I hope they never stop making this car.

Good looks with performance keep this 62 year old

by Dave Newhouse from New Alexandria, PA (6/25/08)
Pros:Great mileage along with good performance, corners like it is on rails, the car is an eyecatcher.
Cons:The front end feels like it comes off the ground on rough roads.

My wife and I wanted a unique sports car with an American badge even though it is an SLK320 underneath. After many Corvettes we decided on this car. We have been very pleased with the car overall. The cupholder is the chief complaint with other owners. They sure didn't think it out. I am 6'3" at 265 and fit alright in it. I wish Chrysler pushed the car a little more and would keep it in production but I don't look for that to happen. Functional trunk with the factory luggage makes a nice touring car.

Quite a solid & Nible Auto

by Frank from Worcester, MA (6/06/08)
Pros:Solid, Sturdy, Quiet, Smooth, With a Gentle Softness to it
Cons:Exhaust could have a little more bite to it

This unique and fun coupe pleasantly surprises with its high end structural construction tuned into a formidable daily driver. It is surprisingly good on gas for what it is. It has a lot more than a little German-Euro-911 build/feel to it. Being built on a highly modified Mercedes Benz SLK Platform it
