Nice automobile.

by Jack smith from Fayetteville, TN (8/13/08)
Pros:nice to get in and out of. gas milage 19.4 miles per gallon. road noise good. sound system very good
Cons:steering very sensetive. gas pedal is very sensetive. you have to be carefull it spins tires easy.

I had this automobile for almost a year. I haveing problem with a oil leak. I had to the dealer and still leaking. I do like this car. I hate haveing to deal with a dealer. I have leather seats. They are a little small. Head room is excellent. I think the rear seal is leaking. I just like to get it fixed.

Why is Chrysler quitting on the Pacifica?

by Howard Parker from Brandon, Florida (8/10/08)
Pros:Very good for long trips
Cons:Have had several air conditioner issues.

Mine is an 05 and has overall been a good car. What I can't understand is why Chrysler basically invented the crossover when they came out with the Pacifica, and now that everyone else is getting into the same game, they are exiting it. Ater 08, the Pacifica goes the way of the Desoto.

Love this car!!!

by Greg in WA. from Sequim, WA. (7/13/08)
Pros:Great Ride and handling. Decent gas milaage. Pleasure to look at.
Cons:Some blind spots

So far this car lives up to the Chrysler nameplate. This is my 5th Chrysler. My Concorde has 300,000 miles on it and is still going strong. My only problem is that my wife hardly lets me behind the wheel.

Why would my car do this????

by Amanda from Chicago,IL (6/24/08)
Pros:Sharp looking, comfortable and has good pick up when you first get it
Cons:Trans problems,blind spots,people always cal it a wagon

Before I let you know my true feelings about this car I want you to know I really do love my car. I have had my 04 Pacifica since about, Oct of 06'. And it had great pick up, soooo comfortable for my whole family. I even had my friend go out and buy the car because she loved it so much. Her's is even silver like mine! But about 2 months ago I was driving to the store and after coming off of a red light my trans kicked real bad and mt check engine light came on. It turns out I had no auto stick and only 1st gear. It would not shift. Untill, I later found out, That If I turned off the power to the vehicle it would reset the brain ( i guess) and the next time you turn the car on it's fine. For a while, then it would do it again. And I am not a crazy driver. And trans problems are NOT cheap to fix!! The car has 73,000 miles on it so it's not like it's that much this day and age. And my friends car just started shifting hard when it goes into 1st. But besides all the trans problems, blind spots, and peole always telling me " OOh I like your station wagon" It's not a station wagon.

PS: I did check the trans fluid for you that are wondering!!!

NOTHING BUT REGRETS

by Josie from Richmond, VA (6/24/08)
Pros:Comfortable ride, looks good, lots of seating for kids
Cons:Terrible blind spots, poorly manufactured

I would NEVER recommend this car to anyone. It has such horrible blind spots that I'm very paranoid about backing up anywhere, especially out of parking spaces. It seems that every time I hit the brakes, another piece of the car falls off and rolls under my feet (I have more screws for which their home cannot be determined). The seat belts are on such a weird curve that they are very difficult to fasten. Because of my experience with this car, I doubt I will ever buy another Chrysler product.

Ridin' In Style

by Brown Suga from Benton, Arkansas (6/05/08)
Pros:Not too big and not too little
Cons:Transmission clunks when changing gears.

I want to trade in my "05 for an "08 but I'm scared I'll get a lemon. I bought my Pacifica with all the bells and whistles (navigation, DVD, 6-disc cd player, heated seats,etc..) I think my Pacifica is just as luxurious as any foreign car. I really want the dual exhaust but I am very satisfied so far (bought the car in '07).

This car is awesome, cofortable, like a Mercedes.

by ElNacho from Tooele, Utah (5/24/08)
Pros:Average 21 mpg, more room than I can use, I feel like I am in a mercedes.
Cons:Not to quick off the line (but will go if you put the pedal down).

I was looking at Nissan Muranos for ever trying to find the right one and could not find a used one with the features that I wanted. I went to Carmax's website and found this vehicle we immediatly went in and test drove it and bought it that night. We have not had any regrets about purchasing this vehicle. We laugh because we do not have any kids and we kind of felt at first like it was like a mini-van with out the sliding doors. But the more we own it we have accepted that and we love it.

If you have any question about purchasing one of these and haven't test drove one. GO DO IT. I am telling you when you sit in this vehicle you will want one.

best car I ever had

by Jo Vanucie from aberdeen, wa (5/05/08)
Pros:love the look, ride and just about everything, The cargo area can haul anything
Cons:can't see out of it when pulling forward or backin up

I own a 2004 which has been great but the transmission clunks when putting into gear, accelerating and slowing, worries me alot. my dealer keeps telling me there is nothing wrong but lost the transmission on my winstar with the same symptoms. This car is the best one I ever had, and I have had plenty. I just can't bring myself to trade it in. so why are they discontinuing it???
