I'm actually reviewing the 2008 R/T with 3.5L V6 Six Speed w/Auto Stick. I got the car with 33,000 miles on it, it is black with a silver stripe on the side that has "Avenger" on the rear panels, looks great. The car had some rust on the hood, but it is under warranty and will be taken care of soon.
The V6 only has 235hp which is low for V6's today which can push 300hp (The one used in the Camero for example). However the 6 speed transmission really makes up for the lack of power as it does accelerate rather quickly (1.7 seconds slower in the 1/4 mile than the Charger R/T with Hemi). AutoStick is fantastic! Love it, makes driving much more fun. Also, i noticed that driving around my neighborhood where the speed limit is 25mph, if you get the car up to 26-27mph it will stay at 25 mph without any input, very nice quirk. Braking is also not fantastic and will take some getting used to. Finally, the mpg is pretty bad 16/26 but I don't care, the car looks great. Hopefully a Cold Air Intake (K&N) would boost this.
Interior of the car is simple and pleasant, especially with the LED lights at night. Kinda cheap feeling, and can do without the chrome on the shifter as it blinds in sunlight. Heated seats are wonderful. My car has the Boston Sound System that is better than any car I have been in, which is many. Back seats and front passenger seats fold down. Trunk is fairly large. The whole cabin is also very roomy and open.
Exterior is what sold me. I love the look of it. The black paint has that shimmer to it and within 1 week I got my first compliment on it. Spoiler makes this car, without it, it doesn't look as good. "Chrome" rims are not really chrome, just plastic chrome, which is cheap, but looks decent.
Since I bough the car, it has been 1 week and I cannot comment on reliability. Not to worried though. I might look into a warranty with my insurance company just in case.
