Purchased As Used
I did a very thorough search of these type vehicles before I bought the Caliber. My primary criteria were fold-down rear seats and excellent gas mileage in a vehicle that was modestly priced. The Caliber was by far the best of what was available in the gas mileage and price range that I was looking for. It has high profile wheels/tires and sits up higher than the "small" cars I looked at. It has an SUV feel with a compact car price. It always gets 29-30 mpg, which is very important to me since I drive a minimum of 60 miles per day to and from work. In a year and a half, I have put about 40,000 miles on it, and it has been extremely reliable. I am very pleased with my Caliber.
