Upon introduction, the Base is equipped with a standard 3.5-liter, V6, 250-horsepower engine that achieves 19-mpg in the city and 27-mpg on the highway. The SRT8 is equipped with a standard 6.1-liter, V8, 425-horsepower engine that achieves 14-mpg in the city and 20-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims.
The 2006 Charger is all-new for 2006.
