- 3.5 high end performance, transmission, braking, awesome looks, lots of space
- low end torque, stock exhaust
Well I have a 07 sxt for about 8 months and I have been enjoying my car from day one. first of all the misconception that the 3.5 cannot handle the weight of this car is just plain wrong. the 3.5 makes this car mover, very fast. This car looks phoenominal, the aggresive front end and windows make it intimidating. I have owned many v6 mustangs with my sxt. I recommend a dual exhaust for a meaner sound and the now available jba headers, my car sounds better than a stock hemi with them. The touring suspension on this car is great kind of light but with mods that can be fixed. There are lots of intakes exhausts, jba headers, and even a performance chip available for this car for your custom needs. reliability has been great 8000 miles on it routine maintainence has been done. Nothing mechanical has gone wrong. The negative on this car is that it is a little slow to take off seems like the tranny and engine are not in sync from first to second gear, hopefully future tcm updates will fix. Fuel economy is okay for a high performance v6, it all depends on your driving happits. One final note this engine is the lowest anybody should go. the 2.7 shame on dcx for putting that engine in the charger is not for this kind of car. If you cant afford this car with the 3.5 at least then wait until you can, or else you will regret it....read morehide

- Great ride (smooth as glass on the highway), VERY quiet, and looks are second to none.
- That pesky blind spot is a pain. Mileage isn't bad, but not real good either.
I shopped and shopped and shopped. Test drove a Caddy CTS, a Nissan Maxima, a Nissan Altima, a Chrysler Sebring and a 300, a Ford Fusion, an Acura, an Accord - nothing was just right.
And then - I found my dream car! Black Crystal Charger SXT with a spoiler, leather seats, Bose sound system, AutoStick tranny. I upgraded just a little with window deflectors and window tint.
I really love this car, and I'm always getting looks and comments. Enough power to pass, and the interior is roomy and very comfortable. Mileage is not terrific (18 - 20 in town; 26 highway), but not bad enough that I'd ever give it up - it's a solid, solid car!...read morehide

- Styling, power, fuel economy, affordability, build quality.
This is a fun, safe, good-looking car with good fuel economy, power, and excellent manners. It makes pretty much every other car on the road look completely inadequate and ridiculous.

- Handling,Fuel cons,Build Quality
had the SXT for close to 4 months. So many small things went wrong that I stopped counting.
The car has plenty of power. The mercedez transmission really works great...
But For my driving habit i felt the car is outright sloppy. The suspension is too soft and so is the steering. Zero Road feel. Its a bouncy-type car. U hit a small bump and the car bounces like a tennis ball. Little bit of rain can make the rear end come loose. As someone mentioned the breaks are not good enough. For this car ESP is a must (so if you are buying one make sure you have it).
After a while when I wanted to sell it the dodge dealer personally told me that this car does not have much or a resale value either. Sold it to carmax at a loss of 6k (with less that 3k miles at time of sale).
Brought a subaru 2.5 GT and I love it ---End of Story...read morehide

- Roomy, comfortable, turns heads.
Love my 2006 SXT charger. The six cylinder is more than enough power. Handling is great city or highway, plenty of room for long trips, plus the trunk is huge great for luggage. For the money this car is a great buy.

- agressive styling, ample power in 3.5 with great fuel milage
With Agressive looks this car is so "old school mopar". Plenty of power with great fuel milage with the 3.5 high output motor. Inferno red reminds me of "Christine". 13K runs perfect no problems.

- The fuel milage is great, very comfortable, decent power
- visibilty out the back
I love the way it handles the curves,it really seems to just glide through the wind. For being a 3.5 liter it truly has good power for the size of the car.
