- smooth ride.
- Ugly. Big on outside; small on the inside. Clumsy handling.

The Dodge Charger has to be one of the ugliest cars on the market today. The Charger is a throwback to the full-sized "land yachts" of the 1970s. It drives and handles like one, but does not have nearly as much interior space. At least it rides smoothly and accelerates well. The seats are not very comfortable. The high sills and low roofline hinder visibility and compromise rear seat headroom. I cannot help but wonder what Chrysler was thinking when they designed the Charger and essentially similar Chrysler 300. Both of these cars have over-the-top styling and very little substance. I believe Chrysler erred when they phased out the last generation of the LH cars (Dodge Intrepid, Chrysler Concorde, LHS, 300M) in favor of the current generation Charger and 300. The LH cars were much better designed. When Chrysler introduced the 300 and the Charger, I thought these cars would go the way of the ill-fated Airflow of the 1930s. But, people bought them. Go figure.
