Fuel economy facts: 23.5 mpg at 75 mph Hwy driving Dallas to Houston - just did that this week. At 70 mph car gets over 24 mpg. City/Suburb driving is roughly 17 mpg. Overall this is still better than my 2006 Cadi STS V8 which had far less horse power. Talking about power; simply speaking the SRT8 is absolutely massive and borderline scary for an average driver (ask my father in law)....my toy car is a '03 Vette Z06 and in a straight line the debate is up as of how much faster the vette really is....there is not much of a difference. The SRT8 also provides an incredible feel of comfort and and excessive amount of gadges that most of us probably will never use. The comfort and luxury feel of the car as well as the the size and space is far better than what you can get from the average imports. Now the transmission (5 speed automatic) which has been critizised by the so called experts...common guys, in the real world this has no bearing on anything driving this car other than maybe improving the fuel economy by a few clicks. Last but not least, it looks just stunning!
