- Getting used to the technology :)
Purchased As New
This is the first real baby from the Italian-American Marriage with the Fiat Group takeover - built from the Alfa Romeo Giulietta (Americanized awesomely!). And I must say, you can feel the refinement from the first time you sit in one and hear the throaty exhaust note (I have the Italian-designed 1.4 MultiAir Turbo and Italian-Designed Dual Dry Clutch Transmission). It's clear that this isn't the old Dodge (and old Chrysler). The design is amazing - Interior is beautiful, modern and insanely full of top of the line technology - especially for that price point!
Driving it - it's unmistakably Italian - solid and confident in corners. Made of more than half high strength steel, so you feel the solid build in driving and even when closing the door.
Napa leather interior with stitching is clearly refined - soft touch materials everywhere.
UConnect Entertainment is easy, big and the heads up display is state of the art (customizable!). The Alpine Surround System is badass as well.
For someone in my age group and BEYOND, it's so smartly designed in so many ways. Good balance between fuel economy and performance - fun but economical.
Dual Dry clutch is smooth.
Bottom line, Dodge Purists from the past may not be used to it - with Italian flare, fit/finish, quality and interior design. But to most people who appreciate awesome cars, the Fiat Group has officially saved the Chrysler Group - and put them on the top (Including Quality - read up on the Fiat Group's modernizing of the manufacturing processes, obsession with quality and investments in quality testing). Americanized Style with a more reliable european DNA - for the price, it's a flat out steal.
