- tons of power, great interior, quiet/smooth ride, awesome looks
- haven't found one yet
Traded an '01 Durango on this '05 and the new one is lightyears better that the old design. Ride is smooth and quiet. Overall build quality is vastly better, interior and panel fit are much better. The 4.7L in the '01 was adequate but wouldn't call it powerful, went with the HEMI in the '05 and am not disappointed. Dodge made improvements in the 4.7L for the new ones so who knows. THe interior on the '05 is so much nicer. Get 15MPG overall from the HEMI, not too bad , considering that if 10 years ago you had told me there would be a 5.7L , 335HP, V8 that gets 15MPG asa factory engine i'd have told you that you were nuts, technology has brought us a long way and if Dodge keeps going like this i can't wait to see what's next .
