- Great size, smooth ride, nice options, nice interior design, power, lot of truck for the money
- some of the plastics could be softer for a $43K truck, around town gas mileage (expected)
This suv drives like a much smaller vehicle, and it's easier to parallel park than I anticipated. The acceleration w/the hemi is great. The interior layout is ideal and easy to operate. I love all of the capabilities of the truck. Makes all of the Home Depot trips a breeze. Gas mileage on the highway is pretty good for this size truck (19 mpg), but the city mileage (or stuck in traffic mileage) leaves much to be desired (13 mpg). The stereo is awesome. The exterior has an intimidating look to it. The third row is actually usable by real adults. Nice cargo space. The interior has a nice upscale, quality look to it, but once you touch all of the hard plastic, the cost cutting becomes apparent. If DC would put higher quality plastics/material in the interior, they would sell a lot more of these. The interior was fine when it was introduced in '04, but with the new Expedition and GM trucks/large crossovers, they really need to step up the game to stay competitive.
