2008 Dodge Durango User Reviews

- Hemi engine, perfect size SUV, unique body style, great features
- fit and finish is weak. Heavy.
I bought my Durango Limited new in 2004. I have accumulated about 40K miles. Only service items have been front brakes and oil changes. Truck has been maintenance free otherwise. I really like the size of the Durango...........not to big (like an Expedition and not too small (Tahoe). Great towing capacity and lots of room in the third row. For the price I paid there was no other SUV available for comparable money. For me, I really wanted the Hemi engine. In spite of this, the truck could use more power or a better transmission to take advantage of the excellent torque. Would I buy another one......probably not. Is there an overlying reason? No. American manufactured vehicles just don't compete with the guys from Japan and the resale value is going to be a killer.
